GOING INTO SYRIA - A MAD RUSH AGAIN!

Who used chemical weapons really, it's a mystery. But this war makes no sense. Hear what Robert Reich, an American says:

"We're about to go into Syria. I can't tell you at this point how, but the U.S. is readying an offensive. We're rounding up allies, as we did before we went into Iraq. The White House is preparing the American people, as another White House did before Iraq. But doesn't this at least deserve a real debate? The silence in America is deafening. Didn't we learn anything from Iraq? Or, for that matter, from Vietnam?

I'm as appalled as anyone by the Syrian regime and its use of chemical weapons on its own people. But what exactly do we expect to achieve by entering this fray? And at what cost -- to us, to the Syrian people, to the tinderbox of the Middle East?

Normally I don't venture into foreign policy, but foreign and domestic policy aren't easily separated. At a time when almost one in four American children is in poverty, when the middle class is struggling to make ends meet, when inequality is widening, and we're dis-investing in infrastructure and education, can we really afford what this initiative could easily mushroom into? We have seen the power of the military-industrial-congressional complex to get its way, to get the dollars it wants, and to sway public opinion in the direction that will be most profitable to it. At the very least, we deserve a full and frank discussion of what the Obama Administration is about to get us into."

A sweet American lady who owns a music studio says something different from what the US government plan. Listen to her say something about US intention to strike Syria:

"CALL THE WHITE HOUSE. This is the most important thing you all can do TODAY. Say you don't want us to go to war with Syria and Russia etc oh yes and China. This is more complicated than just saying, "let's bomb those bastards"! COME ON AMERICANS. The way to help the Syrian people is to NOT BOMB THEM. Because in the end game we aren't bombing a government, we are bombing innocent people. DO WE EVER GET THAT?"

AND FINALLY:  We are forgetting the chemical attack by Israel on Gaza, Palestine in early 2009. White phosphorous was used and schools were also the target with children falling victim. But US and allies took no action then.

US wants to attack Syria without waiting for UN to gather evidence against Assad's regime. Chemical attack killing more than 1300 Syrians is the allegation against Syrian government, which claims it did not carry out the attack. Foreign backed militants (though the situation is quite complex and there are different groups fighting there) working against Assad's regime have also been trying to create chaos in Syria. Just like the story of Libya, US wants to attack a country to save its civilians - bombing civilians first in fact to save them. Where is the world heading?

RELAX PLEASE - SYLVESTOR STALLONE HAS SOMETHING FOR YOU 

(BELOW, AFTER THE SHORT NOTE)

This post is just in time to stop all of you from engaging in a war-frenzy :) I am not a hard-core supporter of military-dictatorships. I only like General Zia because of the man he was. He tried to do things in favor of Islam because he considered it necessary and we should appreciate them, but not all turned out well unfortunately. In his days Hollywood movies were still shown in cinemas and TV as well as other American shows (serious, comedy, informative) but there was some code of ethics, not like today when godlessness is being preached heavily destroying the moral values of the youth. Even if few of us boycott those programs we have to think of the nation as a whole. I know it would be hard today to stick to the clean standards of a Jerry Lewis-Dean Martin comedy or a Gregory Peck romance but producers all over the world are still making clean movies and TV shows, and we can show them instead of the filth & sickness which we are exposing our nation to.

About some other allegations against General Zia, I will share a post later on. And we should remember everybody has his/her own likes and dislikes.

Secondly, nobody is being compelled to believe in the concept of Ghazwa-e-Hind. You are not being forced and ALLAH knows best about its authenticity as Dr. Israr’s Qur’an Academy is not very vocal about this concept. Compared to that, spirituality is a gift which could be given to some people who know through ‘Kashf’ or dreams that something is coming for Pakistan. The knowledge of dreams is also a reality secondly. But again God knows best! In the end, I would say just relax please if you think we are creating a war frenzy, but at the same time just keep yourselves aware of facts. Are we creating war hype or is it India? We (you and me) are only responding to war threats. Lastly, we should have nothing against common American citizens as they are wonderful people. It is the US govt. with Israeli lobby that is the culprit.

Now onto the story below…

 

This is one of the SADDEST stories ever told in Hollywood. His name is Sylvestor Stallone. One of the BIGGEST and Most famous American Movie superstars.

Back in the day, Stallone was a struggling actor in every definition. At some point, he got so broke that he stole his wife's jewellery and sold it. Things got so bad that he even ended up homeless. Yes, he slept at the New York bus station for 3 days. Unable to pay rent or afford food. His lowest point came when he tried to sell his dog at a store to any stranger. He didn’t have money to feed the dog anymore. He sold it at $25 only. He says he walked away crying.

Two weeks later, he saw a boxing match between Mohammed Ali and Chuck Wepner and that match gave him the inspiration to write the script for the famous movie, ‘ROCKY’. He wrote the script for 20 hours! He tried to sell it and got an offer for $125,000 for the script. But he had just ONE REQUEST. He wanted to STAR in the movie. He wanted to be the MAIN ACTOR, Rocky himself. But the studio said NO. They wanted a REAL STAR.

They said he "Looked funny and talked funny". He left with his script. A few weeks later, the studio offered him $250,000 for the script. He refused. They even offered $350,000. He still refused. They wanted his movie. But NOT him. He said NO. He had to be IN THAT MOVIE.

After a while, the studio agreed, gave him $35,000 for the script and let him star in it! The rest is history! The movie won Best Picture, Best Directing and Best Film Editing at the prestigious Oscar Awards. He was even nominated for BEST ACTOR! The Movie ROCKY was even inducted into the American National Film Registry as one of the greatest movies ever!

And do You know the first thing he bought with the $35,000? THE DOG HE SOLD. Yes, Stallone LOVED HIS DOG SO MUCH that he stood at the store for 3 days waiting for the man he sold his dog to. And on the 3rd day, he saw the man coming with the dog. Stallone explained why he sold the dog and begged for the dog back. The man refused. Stallone offered him $100. The man refused. He offered him $500. And the guy refused. Yes, he refused even $1000. And, Believe it or Not, Stallone had to pay $15,000 for the same, same dog he sold at $25 only! And he finally got his dog back!

And today, the same Stallone who slept in the streets and sold his dog JUST BECAUSE he couldn’t even feed it anymore, is one of the GREATEST Movie Stars who ever walked the Earth!

Being broke is BAD. Really BAD. Have You ever had a dream? A wonderful dream? But You are too broke to implement it? Too tiny to do it? Too small to accomplish it? Damn! I've been there too many times!

Life is tough. Opportunities will pass you by, just because you are a NOBODY. People will want your products but NOT YOU. It’s a tough world. If you ain’t already famous or rich or "connected", you will find it rough. Doors will be shut on You. People will steal your glory and crash your hopes. You will push and push. And yet NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. And then your hopes will be crashed. You will be broke. Damn broke. You will do odd jobs for survival. You will be unable to feed yourself. And Yes, you may end up sleeping in the streets.

It happens. Yes, it does. BUT NEVER LET THEM CRUSH THAT DREAM. Whatever happens to You, Keep Dreaming. Even when they crush your hopes, Keep Dreaming. Even when they turn you away, Keep Dreaming. Even when they shut you down, Keep Dreaming.

NO ONE KNOWS WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF EXCEPT YOURSELF! People will judge You by HOW you look. And by WHAT You have. But please, Fight on! Fight for Your place in history. Fight for your glory. NEVER EVER GIVE UP!

Even if it means selling all your clothes and sleeping with the dogs, IT’S OKAY! But AS LONG AS YOU ARE STILL ALIVE, Your STORY IS NOT OVER. TRUST ME.

Keep Up the Fight. Keep your dreams and hope alive. Go get it.
