بِسمِ اللہِ الرَحمٰنِ الرَحِیم

(صبح شام کے کچھ مسنون ازکار (فجر اور مغرب کی نماز کے بعد

١- اَللٰھُمَ اَجِرنی مِنَ النَار (یا اللہ مجھے آگ سے پناہ دے) - آگ سے مراد جہنم - روزانہ سات دفعہ - اگر کوئی مغرب کی نماز کے بعد یہ پڑھے اور فجر سے پہلے فوت ہو جائے تو وہ دوزخ سے بچ کر جنت میں جائے گا اور اسی طرح اگر کوئی فجر کے بعد پڑھے اور مغرب سے پہلے فوت ہو جائے تو وہ دوزخ سے بچ جائے گا - لیکن پانچ وقت نماز پڑھیں - اگر فجر کے وقت نہ پڑھ سکے تو صبح جب یاد    آئے پڑھ لیں

٢- حَسبِیَ اللہُ لا اِلٰہَ اِلا ھُوَ عَلیہِ تَوَکَلتُ وَھُوَ رَبُ العَرشِ الّظِیم (سورہ التوبہ کی آخری آیت کا حصہ) - روزانہ سات دفعہ - جو یہ پڑھتا ہے تو اللہ تعالٰی اس کی تمام فکر و مشکلات کیلئے کافی ہو جاتا ہے

٣- بِسمِ اللہِ الَذِی لَا یَضُرُ مَعَ اسمِہِ شَیءُ فِی الاَرضِ وَلَا فِی السَمَاءِ وَھُوَالسَمِیعُ العَلِیم - روزانہ تین دفعہ - کسی بھی نقصان سے محفوظ ہونے کیلئے مسنون دعا

اسلام آباد دھرنے پر ایک غیرسیاسی تحریر - کُھلے زہن سے پڑھیں

السلام علیکم!

اس وقت ملک ایک نازک دور سے گذر رہا ہے- اسلام آباد کے حالیہ دھرنے پر صورتحال مزید خراب ہو گئی ہے- ہمیں کچھ بھی کہنے سے پہلے کئی بار سوچنا ہےکہ صحیح کیا ہے اور غلط کیا ہے- اچھے برے لوگ ہر جگہ اور ہر جماعت میں ہوتے ہیں لیکن صرف چند لوگوں کی وجہ سے اسلام کے خلاف عوام میں نفرت پھیل رہی ہے اور یہ بڑی تشویشناک بات ہے-

ہمارے پیارے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر لاکھوں جانیں قربان لیکن افسوس کے ساتھ کہنا پڑھتا ہے کہ دھرنے کے قائد خادم حسین کا لب و لہجہ اور انداز نہایت نامعقول رہا ہے- اگر کوئی یہ دعوٰی کرے کہ وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے محبت کرتا ہے لیکن نہایت غیراخلاقی اور ناشائستہ زبان استعمال کرتا ہے تو اس کو کوئی حق نہیں پہنچتا کہ وہ دین کے نام پر کسی گروہ یا جماعت کی سربراہی کرے- کیونکہ اگر سربراہ ہی ایسی بولی بولے گا تو اس کے نیچے لوگ ظاہر ہے اسی کی تائید کرتے ہوئے وہی زبان استعمال کریں گے اور اس طرح معاشرے میں ہم مزید بگاڑ کو فروغ دیں گے- ایک عام انسان کا گالی گلوچ جب اتنا بُرا لگتا ہے تو جب کوئی شرعی لبادہ اوڑھے (مکمل سنت کی داڑھی اور سر پر عمامہ) مجمعے میں گالی گلوچ کرے تو اس سے بڑھ کر فتنہ کیا ہوسکتا ہے؟

ختمِِِ نبوت کے قانون پر ردبدل کوئی غیرت مند مسلمان نہیں برداشت کرسکتا- لیکن ہم نے حکومت سے اپنے جائز مطالبات اسلام کی راہ پر چل کر ہی منوانے ہیں- جو اس راہ سے بھٹک گیا، وہ خود بھی گمراہ ہوا اور اس نے دوسروں کو بھی گمراہ کیا۔ ختمِ نبوت کے قانون پر اگر حکومت کے کسی نمائندے نے جان بوجھ کر یا غلطی سے کوئی قدم اُٹھایا ہے تو اس کے بعد دینی جماعتوں اور عوام کے شور پر وہ قانون واپس اپنی شکل میں کر دیا گیا تھا- یہ بات ہمیں پہلے اچھی طرح سمجھ لینی چاہیئے- اس کے باوجود کوئی جماعت یا گروہ، ملک کے دارلحکومت اسلام آباد میں اس طرح لوگوں کی زندگی اجیرن کرے اور دین کا نام لے کرصحیح راستہ اختیار کرنے کے بجائے مجمعے میں ناشائیستہ زبان استعمال کرے، عبدالستار ایدھی مرحوم کے خلاف زہر اُگلے اور نامور علماء کو بدنام کرے، یہ سب خاصی نامعقول حرکات ہیں- 

یہ سب کچھ بیان کرنے کا مقصد آپ کے سامنے صحیح حقائق رکھنا ہے- امید ہے کہ یہ بات دینی حلقوں میں پھیلائی جائے گی تاکہ عوام دین سے بدظن نہ ہوں-

What is the ‘Absolute Truth’? Where can we find the ‘Absolute Truth’? Is there any such thing as the ‘Absolute Truth’?

Ten years ago, in 2007, I received a phone call on Saturday night from a friend’s younger brother. In an excited tone, he told me that there was going to be a lecture session by a Sufi scholar from UK at Avari Hotel on Sunday. He offered that he would himself come next morning at my place to take me there.

Though I myself loved researching on Islam and mingling with different groups to seek the spirit of true Islam but he failed to stir my emotions then. I just said to myself, “Oh, this kid just wants to go there because it is a grand hotel and a lecture by a ‘foreigner’. “ Hence, I told him politely that I didn’t feel like attending that lecture. The ‘kid’ was apparently disappointed!

Next morning arrived and I felt quite fresh when I woke up. The lecture was scheduled around 11 AM and there was still plenty of time. With a change of mood I decided that it was not a bad idea to attend the lecture and gave the kid a phone call. Hence, we reached Avari well in time for the session ultimately!

The lecture was to be delivered by Sheikh Nuh Keller, a Sufi scholar from UK who was a Christian before and had converted to Islam in 1977. He follows a particular ‘silsila’ of Islam and has written some books on Islam as well. Before attending that lecture I had never even heard his name and the experience broadened my outlook on the world of Islam.

The arrangement was in a suite with partition between men and women (cloth sheets were used for that purpose). The Sheikh sat on the floor of the stage in front of us with his legs crossed while there were regular chairs for the audience in front of him. He was wearing a loose ‘Kurta’ with an exquisitely-shaped turban on his head. We guessed he was above 55 years of age. He had a noble and sober appearance with a proper Sunnah beard.

As Sheikh Nuh started his lecture we found that though his words were charged with wisdom but he was not really a great speaker (as he was more of a writer). It is not possible now to recall the content of lecture but only the theme. He spoke slowly and in a soft tone. His lecture was about the challenges to our faith in the current times and also about upbringing of children. We found that he was more conservative than our local clerics and scholars in approach towards issues.

At the end of lecture was the question-answer session. People asked different questions about what the scholar had earlier spoken in his lecture.  Someone asked a question about making or drawing pictures of living things and Sheikh replied that it is forbidden in Islam as per authentic Ahadith (sayings of the Prophet pbuh). However, there is need to seek the opinions of other scholars also on the issue. The purpose of mentioning his approach is to make us see how conservative he was (and still is) even though he was a Christian Englishman prior to converting to Islam. Later on I searched for his lectures on youtube and there was only his voice-over with still nature scenes etc. in his video lectures.

At the end, I approached the coordinator of the session and he told me that there were weekly meetings by Sheikh’s disciples at a residential house in Defence area in Lahore. I took his number and then visited the venue a week later.

The participants were mostly young and educated. The host of the house asked everybody for introductions and then a specific name of Allah was transmitted on a stereo for some time which the participants were required to repeat also. Afterwards, a thick book with notes on Islamic practices was introduced to all which was in English. After the meal as we were about to leave, a young boy at the door said that ladies were passing by outside (who were also participating and were in the adjacent section of the house) and so we all had to wait for their departure before we went out in the porch.

When I returned home, I contemplated everything. I was myself looking to be part of a religious group since long but then I decided against joining the disciples of Sheikh Keller on long-term basis. The fact is the whole experience at Avari and then at the gathering of disciples was very proper as per the true spirit of Islam. However, I did not want to study Islam at that time in English only even though I had nothing against the language. I felt Urdu being closer to Arabic should not be left while pursuing Islamic knowledge.

So that was one of the good experiences I personally had while trying to learn from good scholars of Islam. Unfortunately today some pseudo-scholars have appeared who are misleading the modern Muslims and presenting an ‘easy way-out’ in Islam. The real danger is that they love to challenge the conventional teachings of Islam and many of them could be funded by enemies of Islam. The modern Muslim needs to be careful about such traps set up by Satan.

You clearly know that one is a pseudo-scholar if he refutes the 1000 year old Islamic philosophers and scholars like Ibn-e-Kathir (who has written a Tafsir on Qur’an which is available in Urdu language also) and Ibn-e-Jarir. These pseudo-scholars have been planted by the West after 9/11 and they love to blame terrorism on Muslims alone without talking about the invading sprees of the imperial powers against the Muslim countries. And also without talking about the fact that terrorist Khawarij groups like TTP and ISIS have been created by the same forces that are invading Muslim lands. Basically they try to score some points by claiming that all terrorism today is taking place due to wrong interpretations of Islam by conventional Islamic philosophers and scholars. Really? Islam is 1400 years old and terrorism by certain Khawarij groups only started after 9/11.

So where is the ‘Absolute Truth’? Did we not find it yet? Or do we still need to look around further?

انگریزی زبان اور ہم

انگریزی زبان اگرچہ دنیا میں سب سے زیادہ بولے جانے والی زبان ہے لیکن یہ زہانت کا معیار نہیں ہے- انگریزوں کے پاک و ہند برصغیر میں آنے سے پہلے اس خطے میں فارسی، عربی، اردو اور ایسی ہی زبانیں رائج تھیں- مسلمانوں نے اس سے صدیوں پہلے اپنی زبانوں میں ہی سب کچھ سیکھا، دریافت کیا اور نئی نئی ایجادات کیں البتہ زیادہ علمی ترقی عربوں نے ہی کی تھی- لیکن اصل بات یہ ہے کہ برطانیہ جو اس وقت کا سپرپاور تھا، اس نے برصغیر میں آہستہ آہستہ اپنے قدم جمائے اور یہاں کے باشندے مغلوب ہوتے گئے- انھوں نے اپنے رسم و رواج اور انگریزی زبان کو برصغیر میں غالب کیا تاکہ مسلمانوں اور ہندووں کو غلام بنالیا جائے، اور حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ہم ابھی تک انگریزوں کے غلام ہیں، چاہے وہ برطانیہ کے انگریز ہوں یا امریکہ کے- 

ہمارے دوبارہ عروج کیلئے ایک راز یہ بھی ہے کہ اگر ہم اس غلامی سے نکلنا چاہتے ہیں تو ہمیں اپنی زبانوں (اردو، فارسی، عربی وغیرہ) پر بھی دسترس حاصل کرنا پڑے گی- المیہ یہ ہے کہ ہم سمجھتے ہیں کہ انگلش ہی سب کچھ ہے اور سارا علم بھی صرف اس میں ہی حاصل کرنا چاہیئے- موجودہ دور کا یہ تقاضہ ضرور ہے کہ ہمیں انگریزی لکھنی، بولنی اور سمجھنی آنی چاہیئے لیکن اس کا مطلب یہ نہیں کہ ہم اپنی زبانیں میں ایک اعلٰی معیار حاصل کرنے کی کوشش نہ کریں- پس، ہمیں انگریزی کے ساتھ اپنی زبانوں کو بھی ساتھ چلانا ہے تاکہ ان میں جو خزانے ہیں، ان سے مستفید ہوسکیں- انشاءاللہ

بچوں کے معاملے میں ہمیں خاص احتیاط کی ضرورت ہے- ایک بزرگ نے کہا کہ پانچویں جماعت تک ہمیں اسکولوں میں ہر چیز اردو ہی میں پڑھانی چاہیئے- اس کے ساتھ عربی، فارسی اور دوسری علاقائی زبانیں اور قرآن کی ابتدائی تعلیم بھی دینی چاہیئے- انگلش کو چھٹی جماعت میں متعارف کرانا چاہیئے- مقصد یہ ہے کہ بچہ پہلے اپنی زبانوں پر بنیادی عبور حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کرے تاکہ اسے اپنی زبانوں کی اہمیت کا اندازہ ہو، پھر اس کے بعد وہ باہر کی زبانوں کی طرف آئے- 

یہ کوئی حتمی رائےنہیں۔ ہمیں یہ بھی سوچنا ہو گا کہ کیا علامہ اقبال (رح) جیسی ہستی نے، جن کی اردو اور انگلش، دونوں پر دسترس بےمثال تھی، کیا انھوں نے شروع سے انگریزی نہیں پڑھی؟

ISLAMABAD CURRENT DHARNA - KHADIM HUSSAIN EXPOSED

Khadim Hussain of current Islamabad dharna is a vulgar man but not all clerics in Pakistan are like him. He has spoken against not only Late Edhi Sahib but Dr. Zakir Naik also and he uses quite abusive language which is not worthy of anyone promoting Islam.

In these matters, we should be very careful before voicing opinions. In his earlier lectures also, Khadim Hussain seems a clear bigoted fellow. It does not mean however that the issue of blasphemy against our Prophet (pbuh) is not important Naooz billah but Khadim Hussain is carrying out his campaign very irresponsibly and 'much' against the true spirit of Islam.

According to a Hadith, Allah divided His Mercy into hundred parts, and distributed only one of those parts in this world He created. Let us think of all the love in this world; be it between a mother and child, a husband and wife, a brother and sister, be it between animals and their young, be it between friends. All the love amongst these people and in this world comprises just one part out of seventy of Allah’s Mercy. This brings to mind the question that what tremendous mercy might Allah show on the Day of Judgment?

A bird is a very weak little thing. It builds a nest for its young and leaves to get food. Now if the nest was in a house and the door is closed upon the bird’s return, this little bird will frantically search for some way to get to its nest, flapping its wings at one wall and then the next. She gets tired but keeps struggling to find a way to her young so she can feed them. If the door opens she flies hurriedly to feed her young, but if it remains shut then she will die flapping against the door, looking for some passage to her young. This bird is such a little thing but Allah has put such love inside it that she is willing to die but cannot tolerate her young going hungry.

A chicken is also a very delicate little creature, but it protects its young in its wings against a cat. It knows that it is no match for the cat, but the mother’s love inside this chicken compels it to stand up against the cat, because it knows that the cat will harm its children. Such is the love that Allah has put inside this chicken that it is prepared to give its life in defense of her children.

Only a mother can know and understand how much love Allah has put in her heart for her children. This love is a mountain and no one has been able to scale its heights; this love is an ocean and no one has been able to calculate its depths.

A mother loves her children unconditionally, with no display. A mother loves her child whether the child is obedient or disobedient, honorable or dishonorable. After Allah and His Messenger, only a mother can love even the disobedient. This world likes the successful and good, but hates those who are hateful and disrespectful and rejects them. However, a mother is a mother and loves her children no matter is they are obedient or disobedient, kind or unkind. A mother cannot be separated from her child.

A Woman’s Yearning

A woman’s greatest wish is to become a mother, because that is how Allah has made her. She gets worried if after marriage she somehow cannot have children, and prays day and night in every prayer and in tahajjud. When she goes for Umra and Hajj she will pray for children. She has such a yearning in her heart for motherhood that this becomes the first thing that she prays for and it starts to consume her. Allah might have given a big house and a successful husband who loves her, but something will be missing from her life and she will be sad. She will only have one wish despite all this, and that is the wish to become a mother.

This same woman’s life will be transformed if Allah blesses her with children. Her face will gleam and she will say that spring has come to her house. She spends all day running after this child and stays awake all night catering to this child’s needs. She stays sleepless and hungry for this child’s sake, but this struggle and hardship seem easy for her. Why? This is only because Allah has put the love of her children in her heart.

Now she forgets herself after begetting children. She goes to the market but does not look for adult clothes for herself, but searches for little clothes for her child and anything else she can decorate the nursery with. If she becomes tired, one look at her child relieves her of her fatigue; if she is worried, she hugs the child close to her and forgets all these worries, and thinks that she has gained all the happiness in the world.

She even forgets her relations, in that if her sister dislikes the child then she does not consider her a sister. Now the child becomes the purpose and focal point of her life. This child grows up and starts working, but the mother keeps worrying and stays up late waiting for him. The rest of the household sleeps but this mother stays awake waiting and worrying about whether the child has eaten or not.

If the child hurts the mother to such a degree that the mother says that she will never speak to him again, the child only has to come and beg forgiveness and the mother will immediately do so because she is a mother. If the mother has been hurt worse than this and says that she will not forgive him, then if the child falls to her feet she will immediately pardon him since a mother cannot bear to see her young son begging her thus. If the mother is hurt worse than this and is angrier still, vowing not to forgive him because he is so disobedient and hurtful, then he cries and begs for forgiveness. The mother’s heart melts because she cannot bear to see her child cry. Just a minute ago she was angry, vowing not to speak to her child, but now she wipes his tears with her own shawl forgetting how this child had hurt and angered her.

A mother loves her children so much that she cannot bear to see tears coming from their eyes. Allah loves His creation much more than a mother loves her children and cannot bear to see tears either. No matter how much someone has strayed from the right path, Allah will forgive this person if he begs for forgiveness with a sincere heart and vows to amend his ways. If an ashamed servant of Allah comes to Him asking for forgiveness with a true heart, Allah forgives him because of the tears that he sheds.

Examples of Mercy

Allah is extremely merciful. An idol worshipper used to worship an idol named Sanam. He sat up calling the name “Ya Sanam” all night, and towards the dawn he started getting drowsy and so he mistakenly took one of the Glorious Names of Allah, “Ya Samad.” Allah immediately turned His attention and asked, “What do you want My servant?” The angels said in astonishment, “O Allah, this is an idol worshipper and only took Your Name in forgetfulness.” Allah said, “This person calls on these idols all night and they don’t answer him. What difference is there between Me and the idols if I don’t answer him either?”

Allah wants us to seek forgiveness and come towards Him. Hadith says that the Messenger of Allah was traveling and stopped on the way at a village. A woman was cooking at a fire nearby and he noticed that she constantly had to push her child back who would come forward. She said to the Prophet, “I work with this fire all day; my son wants to play with it but I have to push him back all the time because I’m frightened for him. If Allah loves us more than we love our children, how can He put us in Hell?”

Hearing this the Messenger of Allah sat with his head bowed and his eyes filled with tears. He cried for some time and then said, “Allah does not want to send His creation into Hell, but it is man himself who buys Hell for himself through his disobedience to Allah. He forgets where he has come from and who his Caretaker is. He does not seek forgiveness from his Creator.”

The Merciful Creator

Allah is a Merciful God who wants to forgive us, and His Mercy tries to find excuses for forgiving us. We must take advantage of the time that we have in this life and seek forgiveness and amend our ways. May Allah give us the ability to seek His forgiveness and amend our ways. Aameen!

How well do we know our Prophet ﷺ the best of creation?

There was a person whose humility was like the Earth and whose generosity like the Sun. A man whose speech was gentler, subtler, and clearer, than the dew which adorns meadows in the early mornings of summer. Although he walked the Earth over a millennium ago, his personality, his message, and his very essence, continue to inspire and attract over 1 billion people today.

We all know we have to love him, follow him, and imitate him if we want to pursue happiness in this world and the next. Think about it: Is any of this possible if we do not know about him? Can love for the Prophet (peace be upon him) blossom in our hearts while we remain ignorant about him and his life?

داڑھی اور مسلمان

یہ بھی ایک المیہ ہے کہ بہت سے مسلمان لمبی داڑھی تو رکھ لیتے ہیں لیکن ان کے دل کینہ، حسد یا تکبر سے پاک نہیں ہوتے- داڑھی بےشک ایمان کا ایک جُز ہے لیکن اسلام میں داڑھی ہے، داڑھی میں اسلام نہیں- کچھ دینی جماعت والے شروع سے ہی لوگوں کو لمبی داڑھی رکھوا دیتے ہیں جو کچھ زیادہ صحیح نہیں ہے- اایسے بہت سے لوگوں کے ابھی اخلاق ٹھیک نہیں ہوتے لیکن داڑھی پوری ہوتی ہے جس سے وہ معاشرے کو ایک دینی مسلمان کا غلط تاثر دیتے ہیں- شروع میں داڑھی چھوٹی رکھنی چاہیئے اور قدم بہ قدم آگے بڑھنا چاہیے- اسلام میں ہر چیز میں توازن ضروری ہے

افسوس یہ ہے کہ ہر سفید داڑھی والا “بزرگ“ نہیں ہوتا- بحرحال بہت سے عمر رسیدہ باریش حضرات واقعی “بزرگ“ بھی ہوتے ہیں اس لئے ہمیں ایک ہی نظریے سے سب کو جانچنا نہیں چاہیئے- دوسری طرف بہت سے کلین شیو حضرات بھی اچھے انسان اور اچھے مسلمان ہوتے ہیں

داڑھی رکھنا بحرحال نہ صرف سنتِ مبارکہ ہے بلکہ واجب ہے کیونکہ یہ وہ سنت ہے جس کا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلِہ وسلم نے حکم دیا کہ رکھو اور مونچھٰں کٹواو- داڑھی کے ساتھ اچھے اخلاق، دوسرے دینی معاملات اور حقوق العباد کے بارے میں بھی بندہ کوشش کرے تو پھریہ بہترین ہے

آخر میں یہ کہ کس کا دل کتنا صاف ہے، اللہ سب سے بہتر جانتا ہے اور اسی نے ہمارا قیامت کے دن حساب لینا ہے- وہ دن جس کی لمبائی سورہ المعارج کی آیت نمبر چار کے مطابق پچاس ہزار سال ہے

یہود و ہنود میں حیرت انگیز مماثلت پائی جاتی ہے ۔۔۔۔۔!!

سود خور یہودی اور سود خور بنیا ضرب المثل ہیں ۔

یہودی اور ہندو دونوں ہی اپنی مکاری اور سازش کے لیے بھی مشہور ہیں ۔

ہندوؤں میں برہمن خود کو اعلی سمجھتے ہیں اور باقی انسانوں بشمول ہندوؤں تک کو رذیل حتی کہ جانوروں سے بھی بدتر سمجتھے ہیں اور انکو چھونا تک حرام سمجتھے ہیں ۔ یہی حال یہودیوں کا ہے اور جو خود کو اعلی اور برگزیدہ سمجھتے ہیں اور باقی انسانوں کو " گوئم " یعنی انسان اور جانور کی درمیانی مخلوق قرار دیتے ہین ۔

یہاں کچھ لوگوں کا یہ دعوی بھی سچ ہی لگتا ہے کہ ہندوؤں میں برہمن دراصل مصر سے آئے ہوئے یہودی ہیں۔ وہ اس کے لیے مختلف دلائل دیتے ہیں ۔ آپ نوٹ کیجیے کہ آج تک برہمنوں کو "مصر جی" بھی کہا جاتا ہے ۔

یہودی مسجد اقصی کو شہید کر کے ہیکل سلیمانی کی تعمیر کرنا چاہتے ہیں جبکہ ہندو بابری مسجد کو شہید کر کے رام مندر بنانا چاہتے ہیں ۔

ہندوؤں نے کشمیر پر ناجائز قبضہ جما رکھا ہے جبکہ یہودیوں نے فلسطین پر ناجائز قبضہ جما رکھا ہے ۔

اہل یہود نے گائے کا بچڑا بنایا تھا ااور اسکے آگے جھک گئے تھے۔ ہندو گائے کو مقدس سمجھتے ہیں اور اسکے آگے جھکتے ہیں۔

پاکستان کے معاملے میں انکی یہ مماثلت اور بھی حیرت انگیز ہو جاتی ہے ۔

یہودی گریٹر اسرائیل بنانا چاہتے ہیں اور پاکستان کو سب سے بڑی رکاؤٹ خیال کر تے ہیں ۔ جبکہ ہندو اکھنڈ بھارت بنانا چاہتے ہیں اور پاکستان کو ہی اس میں سب سے بڑی رکاؤٹ خیال کرتے ہیں ۔

کچھ لوگ پاکستان کو مدینہ کے بعد دوسری اسلامی نظریاتی ریاست قرار دیتے ہیں اگر یہ درست مان لیا جائے تب معاملہ مزید دلچسپ ہو جاتا ہے ۔

مدینے کو ایک طرف یہودیوں سے خطرہ تھا اور دوسری طرف مکہ کے مشرکوں سے۔

پاکستان کو بھی ایک طرف یہودیوں سے خطرہ ہے یعنی اسرائیل کی ریاست سے اور دوسری طرف ہندوؤں سے جو کہ مشرکین کی سب سے بڑی ریاست ہے اس وقت۔

مدینے کے خلاف بھی مشرکین اور یہودیوں کا اتحاد ہوا تھا جبکہ پاکستان کے خلاف بھی یہودیوں اور ہندوؤں (مشرکین ) کا اتحاد ہے جس سے ہم واقف ہیں۔

اب اگر ہم اس سارے معاملے میں غزوہ ہند کی مشہوری حدیث کو شامل کرتے ہیں تو پاکستان کو بیک وقت ہندو (مشرکین ) اور یہودیوں سے جنگ درپیش ہوگی ۔ اور جس طرح مدینے کی ریاست نے ان دونوں طاقتوں پر غلبہ پا لینے کے بعد آدھی دنیا پر غلبہ پا لیا تھا اسی طرح جب اللہ پاکستان کے ہاتھوں انڈیا اور اسرائیل کا خاتمہ فرمائے گا تو اسلام کو دنیا پر غالب ہونے سے کوئی طاقت نہیں روک سکے گی ۔

اور یاد رکھیے غزوہ ہند والی حدیث پر پاکستان کے علاوہ کوئی اور اسلامی ملک پورا نہیں اترتا کیونکہ پاکستان دنیا کے 56 اسلامی ممالک میں سے واحد ملک ہے جس کی بیک وقت انڈیا اور اسرائیل دونوں سے دشمنی ہے ۔ باقی اسلامی ملکوں کا معاملہ ایسا نہیں ہے۔

پاکستان کو ہی اللہ نے بہادر پاک فوج، نہایت اعلی نیوکلیر میزائل پروگرام اور جذبہ جہاد سے سرشار مجاہدین کی بہت بڑی قوت سے لیس کر رکھا ہے۔۔۔۔

مجھے تو اس ساری صورت حال میں بہت سی باتیں عجیب اور دلچسپ لگتی ہیں آپکا کیا خیال ہے ؟؟؟

شائد اللہ ہم سے کوئی خاص کام لینے والا ہے!

پردہ تو نظر کا ہوتا ہے - Purdah tau nazar ka hota hai

پردہ تو نظر کا ہوتا ہے ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ اس سوچ نے آدھی انسانیت کو برہنہ کر دیا ہے

کہتے ہیں کہ بلھے شاہ ابھی کمسن بچے تھے نہر کے کنارے کھیل رہے تھے, وہیں کچھ خواتین بیٹھی کپڑے دھو رہی تھیں کہ ایک خاتون کے جسم سے قمیض کچھ اوپر ہوئ اور بلھے شاہ کی نظر اس خاتون کے جسم پر پڑ گئی. آپ نے ہاۓ کی آواز نکالی اور فورا اپنی قمیض کے پلو کو اٹھا کر اپنی آنکھوں پر رکھ لیا آنکھیں بند کرنے کے لیے. اب بلھے شاہ نے قمیض کے نیچے پاجامہ نہیں پہنا ہوا تھا, جیسے چھوٹے بچوں کو نہیں پہنایا جاتا, تو قمیض اٹھانے سے آپ کی اپنی شرم گاہ ظاہر ہو گئی.

سب خواتین نے ایک زوردار قہقہ لگایا اور ایک خاتون نے آواز کسی کہ یہ کیسا پردہ ہے کہ اپنا ہی جسم برہنہ ہو جاے ؟ 
جس کو سن کر بلھے شاہ نے یہ تاریخی الفاظ فرمایے کہ
"بی بی پردہ تو نظر کا ہوتا ہے".

سب خواتین کی ہنسی ایک دم بند ہو گئی اور وہ دم بخود رہ گئی ایک کمسن بچے کی اس گہری بات پر. اور سوچنے لگی کہ یہ کون بچہ ہے جو کمسنی میں اتنی گہری باتیں کرتا ہے. 

شام تک پورے محلے میں اس بچے کی شہرت عام ہو چکی تھی.
آپ کا یہ فقرہ اتنا مشہور ہوا کہ آج زبان زد عام ہے. لیکن آج تقوی' کے اس فقرے کی بے حرمتی اس طرح ہونے لگی ہے کہ ظاہری پردے کی نفی کی جانے لگی ہے اور جوابا کہا جاتا ہے کہ پردہ تو نظر کا ہوتا ہے.

لباس جسم سے کم سے کم تر ہوتا جا رہا ہے اور نظر کے پردے کا پرچار ہو رہا ہے, اور وہ بھی دوسروں کے لیے, اپنے لیے وہ بھی نہیں. کہتے ہین "دین میں آسانی ہے"

اس آسانی کو دین پر عمل نہ کرنے کے لیے استعمال کیا جانے لگا ہے. دین میں آسانی کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ نماز کھڑے ہو کر نہیں پڑھ سکتے تو بیٹھ کر پڑھ لو, بیٹھ کر نہیں پڑھ سکتے تو لیٹ کر اشارے سے پڑھ لو.
روزہ ابھی نہیں رکھ سکتے تو کچھ دن بعد رکھ کر قضا کر لینا...

دین میں آسانی کا یہ مطلب نہیں ہے کہ نماز پڑھو یا نہ پڑھو, روزہ رکھو یا نہ رکھو... وغیرہ وغیرہ.
دین میں آسانی ضرور ہے, من مانی نہیں ہے. "پردہ نظر کا ہوتا ہے" تقوی' کی بات ہے, فتوی نہیں ہے کہ پردہ صرف نظر کا ہی ہوتا ہے.
بلھے شاہ جو کمسن تھے, بالغ نہیں تھے, اپنا جسم برہنہ ہونے کا ان کو ابھی گناہ نہیں تھا, لیکن نظر کے پردہ جیسی تقوی کی دولت سے مالا مال تھے, اور ان خواتین کو ان کے جسم کی بے پردگی کے ساتھ نظر کے پردہ پر حیران و پریشان چھوڑ گئے.

خدارا دین کا مذاق نہ بنائیں, دین کو سمجھیں اور دین کی طرف آئیں, دین کی طرف آنا بہت آسان ہے.مسلہ صرف یہ ہوتا ہے کہ نفس کو جس کام کی عادت نہیں ہوتی وہ کام اسے مشکل لگتا ہے. 

مشکل یہی تھی نا کہ دل کو مشکل لگتا ہے, تو پہلے نماز ہمت کر کے شروع کریں اس کے بعد جب دل خود کہے کہ ایک اور پڑھنی چاہیے اس سے باقائدگی اور ہمیشگی حاصل ہو گی. بس اس طرح آپ کا دل خود بخود آپ کو آسان دین کی طرف لے آے گا. یقین کیجیے دین کی طرف آنے سے ہماری زندگی مشکل نہیں ہوتی, ہمارہ مزہ ختم نہیں ہوتا, زندگی کا لطف مرتا نہیں, سب چلتا رہتا ہے, بلکہ پہلے سے زیادہ حسین لگتا ہے سب. بس صرف کچھ چیزیں کرنی ہیں اور کچھ کا طریقہ بدلنا ہے.

لیکن پہلے یہ سمجھنے کی ضرورت ہے کہ محض نفس کی سستی کی وجہ سے دین کا مذاق اڑانا بند کریں اور اپنے آپ کو بتائیں کہ یہ دین کے احکام ہیں اور یہ ایسے ہی ہیں. میں اگر آج اس مقام پر نہیں تو کل کو اللہ مجھے یہاں تک پہنچا دے گا. تقوی تک لے جانا اللہ کا کام ہے, آپ کا کام صرف ارادہ اور پہلی کوشش ہے.

تو ارادہ اور باقائدگی سے آسان سی پہلی کوشش شروع کریں. آگے آپ کا دل خود آپ کو اس مقام تک لے جاے گا جہاں دین کی آسانی آپ کو نظر آنے لگے گی اور لے نظر کا پردہ بھی سمجھ آ جاے گا.

Honor is an intense sense of right and wrong, and the adherence to the actions and principles that a man deems right. In the past, a man’s honor was considered something that had to be defended, even to the death. Men fought duels to the death to defend what they declared to be an insult to their honor, or in today’s terms, being disrespected.

Noblemen and warriors, both in the East and in the West, considered it part of their duty to defend their honor, especially if they felt that someone had disrespected them or challenged their honor in some way. And, these men took drastic measures to do so.

In many cases, these duels were not about honor at all, but more about someone’s wounded pride. To fight to the death over some small insult or misunderstanding is not truly defending your honor, but rather defending your pride. The vast majority of these duels of honor were more about defending the man’s reputation, not his honor.

Honor is not something that you have to defend by fighting other men, but you do have to fight for it nonetheless. You have to fight to keep your honor daily. Almost every day of your life you will have opportunities to turn your back on your honor by choosing actions that are dishonorable in one way or another.

The fight to maintain your honor is an internal battle, not an external one. Honor is not something that anyone else can take away from you, but it is something that you can lose. It is up to you whether or not you maintain your honor. The secret of the light of Prophet ﷺ

Some scholars are awliya who can see very well and have knowledge given to them by Allah. They say when Allah (swt) created the Light of Prophet (s), He created that Light not from His Essence, Dhaatullah, but from His Name “an-Noor.” That Light was in that Essence, and it is what we know from the word “an-Noor,” which is not a word, but rather the secret of Prophet (s) and creation. It appeared to Prophet (s) as a word or essence, and then all the other Beautiful Names and Attributes appeared one after the other, with no beginning and no end.

With the Light that Allah (swt) gave him, Prophet (s) was able to see the secrets of all these Beautiful Names and Attributes that appeared endlessly, and he dressed his ummah with them. He saw the lights of the awliya and scholars and gave to them according to their capacities. A wali was given so he could guide and help people to see these secrets, while a normal person was given less because their capacity would be less.

He dressed them with “laa ilaaha illa-Llah” and gave according to the dhikr of those four words, “SubhaanAllah, alhamdulillah, laa ilaaha illa-Llah, Allahu Akbar.” On the Day of Judgment, they will be dressed like a light on a dark night with a rainbow of Beautiful Names of Allah (swt)! They will be known as the lovers and followers of Prophet (s) and Allah (swt) will know them when He sees them.

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa aalaihi wassallam) said: “He is not one of us who calls for asabiyyah, (tribalism/nationalism) or who fights for asabiyyah, or who dies for asabiyyah.” [Abu Dawud]

On one occasion during the time of the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), a party of Jews conspired to bring about disunity in the ranks of the Muslims after seeing the Aus and Khazraj harmonious with each other within Islam. A youth from among them was sent to incite remembrance of the battle of Bu'ath, where the Aus had been victorious over the Khazraj. He recited poetry to stir their feelings, remind them of their past differences, and bring about division between them. As a result there was a call to arms. When the news reached the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) he said, "O Muslims, remember Allah, remember Allah. Will you act as pagans while I am present among you, after Allah has guided you to Islam, and honoured you thereby and made a clean break with paganism; delivered you thereby from disbelief; and made you friends thereby?" When they heard this they wept and embraced each other. [The Roots of Nationalism In The Muslim World]

Islam is a religion that abhors racism, ethnicism, tribalism, and its newer version, nationalism. Differences of language, colour, cuisine and accent were meant to add flavour to life, not to be used to ridicule or fight each other. The past couple of centuries have seen wars between different ethnic groups on a scale unprecedented before. The rise of nationalism has resulted in bitter conflict between groups that had lived for centuries in harmony. It has set the world on fire and resulted in pandaemonium.

While Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) has prohibited nationalism, Muslims are killing one another and aiding non-Muslims to kill their brothers and sisters in Islam, in the name of saving their own "country". This is despite the fact that such "countries" have no legitimacy in Allah's eyes for the reasons that 1) in none of these is Allah's law held wholly superior to man made law, and 2) there is only one country to which all Muslims belong, i.e. Dar-ul-Islam. Muslims, for thirteen centuries were one bloc, under one leadership, in the name of Allah (subhana wa ta'ala). When you cut an elephant into 100 pieces you don't get one hundred elephants, instead you get a bloody mess. Incited against each other using nationalism, this is what the Muslim Ummah has become.
