Dear Imran Khan,

Assalam-o-Alaikum!

We appreciate your efforts in exposing the existing corrupt government of Pakistan and how they are fooling the nation with claims of "positive economic indicators" when in reality we can clearly see high cost of living and rising rate of inflation all around the country besides usurping of huge funds in developmental projects. However, there are a few things where we don't agree with your vision. When you talk about first Islamic state of Madinah and the early Caliphs of Islam, then obviously it means you support the system of Caliphate. But on the other hand, you associate that grand system of Muslims with "haraam" Western Democracy (though it does not mean we don't acknowledge the other positives of the Western world) which means you are basically selling democracy under the justification that it is the same as Khilafat. If Khilafat is Democracy and Democracy is Khilafat then what about saying of Obama that "We will not allow implementation of Caliphate"?

Please be proud of your own heritage and think beyond your partial interpretation of Islam and Islamic systems. It's time you add a few more feathers to your crown and be not limited by what your degree from Oxford teaches you. You have also not raised any voice against 'Riba' or done anything to launch Riba-Free financial systems in Pakistan ever since you formed your political party in 1996. Pakistan is destined to be a true Islamic state where laws of Allah will prevail. Justice and fairness (your slogan of 'Insaaf') is one just one aspect of a true Islamic state. This shows that you have confused ideals about a true Islamic state and as an honest leader of Pakistan we expect you to incorporate and promote the whole system of an Islamic state.

Your stance towards Khawarij like TTP has also not been clear and this way you have spread confusion amongst the nation causing divided opinions. And everybody knows what ISIS and TTP have been doing in the name of implementing Caliphate and hence trying to hijack the real concept of Caliphate. Moreover, your announcement about appointing a Qadiani finance minister is also not at par with Islamic teachings and you need to desist from it as such significant positions should only be granted to Muslims. Lastly, please also clearly announce denouncement of cults like Gohar Shahi who have claimed to be Imam Mahdi.

We have serious reservations about the role of 'free media' in these times also which is destroying the moral values of the nation. We suggest that the number of TV channels be cut down to 10-15 only under a strict controlled policy which means that though entertainment should be allowed but not in the fashion of 'everything goes'. Please realize that we have to win the support of Our Creator by pleasing Him and not just the masses!

We hope you will note the above and work on conveying these concerns to the people so that you earn the support of promoters of a true system of an Islamic state as well. May Allah bless all of us and may He remove the hardships of our people apart from the entire Muslim Ummah - Aameen.

There is a reason why Muslims of the world, especially in Pakistan, feel weak and out of potential. Almost every Muslim country is in some kind of oppression and not a single leader has the character to speak against the oppressor nor the spirit to look into eyes of the tyrant.

Today us and our coming generation, believe that Muslims have always been this way, Muslim leaders have always been greedy corrupt cowards. This was fed to us since we were kids and is now being fed to our kids !

This is no coincidence, this is not random ! – our nation has been deprived of true understanding of a true Muslim leader and fed with bogus history, fabricated heroes and fake moral values – that has lowered our standards so much that anybody who dresses well and can speak different can be our leader.

Muslims had lost battle of Plassey in Bengal in 1757 to the British ! It took 190 years of blood & sweat to fight back to create Pakistan. Creation of Pakistan, at the hands of two stunning personalities - Jinnah & Iqbal - was the most decisive defeat of the British & Hindus! Now you would know the stature of Jinnah & why he is called Quaid e Azam, the great leader! He led the Muslim counter attack after 250 years.

Pakistan need a fresh start today -- a full Ctrl-Alt-Del of the Colonial system & installing of Khilafat e Rashida model! Need a Quaid badly.

Assalam-o-Alaikum,

While we proceed to fight the day to day battle in our respective lives, there are a few things we might be ignoring. And one of these is to prepare for the challenges ahead as per the End time Islamic theories of appearance of Imam Mahdi (ra), Dajjal (Anti-Christ) and return of Nabi Isa (as).

Have you ever pondered why some people don’t believe in these concepts? Let me share that my elder brother who is just one and a half years elder to me does not believe either. Though he is a fine person but it is a fact that many Muslims who progress in this world and who are caught up in the daily regime of life do not bother to invest time in learning from scholars or reading books on Ahadith or on the End time topics in Islam.

Is ironic that some of us do not attach importance to sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), and find refuge in the argument that Ahadith were compiled 200 years after his demise. Dr. Israr’s brother, Dr. Absar, who is in-charge of English section in Qur’an Academy (having served in Punjab University as Professor of Philosophy) addressed this issue. He said that in the early period of Islam after the Prophet’s (pbuh) demise, the level of faith (emaan) in the hearts of Muslims was very high and they were very devoted to memorizing Qur’an and Ahadith having photographic memories.

In those days there was no radio or television or Internet or other technological inventions which consume much of our time today and hence distract our attention from gaining Islamic knowledge. The positives of these inventions cannot be denied but it is a reality that today most of us are more engrossed in time-wasting activities in this era of technology than making good use of them. 

However, we can still learn to exercise control over ourselves. For example there are young Muslim females today who do not even keep their portraits as Facebook profile pics (sharing whole picture albums is one step further away) and are using the platform for spreading the message of Allah. Indeed, they have comprehended the truth of afterlife/Judgment Day and what God has said in Qur’an. Sadly, many of us today, both males and females, are not able to resist the attractions set up by Satan. For many people, their work and career are closely connected with the Internet. It is still time for us to exercise control and get closer to the message of Allah.

Coming to the topic of End times, today there are Muslims who pray five times a day but they still don’t believe in End time theories because they have not learned that Islam is to be applied as a complete code of life and in all spheres. An example: a Muslim says all his prayers (Salah) and fasts in Ramadan also, but goes out to watch a movie in cinema to pass time while he is fasting. 

The Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa-Alaihi Wasallam) has given us a shield for protection against the trials of Anti-Christ (Dajjal). And that is Surah Al-Kahf. To memorize first ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf and also to recite entire Surah Al-Kahf every Jumm’ah (after Maghrib Thursday and before Maghrib Friday). It should be remembered that we need to recite Surah Al-Kahf with proper Qur’anic pronunciation (Tajweed) for it to act as a shield. Given below is a web link of recitation of same Surah by Sheikh Saud Ash Shuraim who is Imam-e-Harm Makki. This was recommended by an Imam of mosque in Lahore. If we listen to this recitation with Arabic text in front of us in another window (link given below also) repeatedly, then we can accomplish one step. Second step would be to seek help from a good Qari and then to perfect Tajweed of this Surah by reciting this Suran in front of him so he/she can point out our flaws. Listening to Qur’anic recitation is itself a source of peace!

SIGNS OF WEAK IMAAN..!!

1. Committing sins and not feeling any guilt.

2. Having a hard heart and no desire to read the Quran.

3. Feeling too lazy to do good deeds, e.g. being late for salat

4. Neglecting the Sunnah.

5. Having mood swings, for instance being upset about petty things and bothered and irritated most of the time.

6. Not feeling anything when hearing verses from the Quran, for example when Allah warns us of punishments and His promise of glad tidings.

7. Finding difficulty in remembering Allah and making dhikr.

8. Not feeling bad when things are done against the Shariah.

9. Desiring status and wealth.

10. Being mean and miserly, i.e. not wanting to part with wealth.

11. Ordering others to do good deeds when not practising them ourselves.

12. Feeling pleased when things are not progressing for others.

13. Being concerned with whether something is haram or halal only; and not avoiding makroo (not recommended) things.
