Well if this was the scene then anybody being a Muslim would have done the same as my brother Mumtaz Qadri has done.
To my knowledge according to the laws of Islam if some one try's to abuse our noble prophet he should be punished and the ruler of the Islamic nation at that time is responsible to defend the country and the religion the country is following.If the Ruler/government fails to do so,then only the Muslims residence in the country can personally punish the culprit and after doing so now the Muslim Ruler/government is not permitted by the Islamic laws of Shariah to punish the person who has even killed someone in trying to stop the character assassination of the Noble prophet (s.a.w). My dear Muslim brothers this duty was truly of the Ruler/government of a Muslim Nation which was fulfilled by a common man/citizen.The Muslim Ruler was suppose to punish the person trying to abuse the prestige of our noble prophet but our sleeping Ruler suddenly woke-up when a common citizen had taken the law in his own hands.A question rises here that if the government had completed their task properly then a common citizen of a Muslim country would not have taken the law in his own hands but because of their negligence many families had to suffer. My sixth sense signals me that many will have to pay the consequences to this happening.As a Muslim we will not compromise the sovereignty and respect of the dearest and Noble Prophet of Almighty Allah.
