Visit Madinah For Many Reasons

VISIT MADINAH FOR MANY REASONS

If you struggle with sin or you are going through hardship or you are starting to lose motivation and you are feeling like anxiety is taking over your life then I strongly advise that you visit Madinah - if you are able to afford it. Madinah is a city which gets rid of sadness, it purifies hearts, it cures souls, it lifts burdens, it removes illness, and why should it not? It is the city which was blessed to kiss the feet of the Messenger ﷺ. It is the city where iman seeks refuge. Many people say they are not good enough to go Madinah, but guess what? Non of us are good enough and we'll never be good enough. Non of us deserves this honour, but this is all from Allah's mercy. The moment you stand before him, you'll drop your head and tears will come down your eyes as you say, "al-Salatu wa al-Salam 'alayka Ya Rasul'Allah!" and your life will change. I don't care what you are going through, life will transform.

Madinah was known as Yathrib which meant the city of illness but the moment he entered, it became illuminated and cured, so imagine you enter into his vicinity. Your desire for sinning shall break, your burdens will be lightened, your being will be illuminated. Really just do it. Just book and go. Just go and see the mercy of my master. Whoever goes to the leader of creation will never leave empty handed. If you go and don't feel peace and tranquillity then wallahi, I give you permission to spit in my sinful face.

Syria - Latest Chemical Attack - April 2017

LATEST SITUATION IN SYRIA - INSIGHT BY CAREY WEDLER (INDEPENDENT VOICE IN USA):
"Remember that time Assad used chemical weapons on civilian populations and destroyed the health of generations to come while also sickening the soldiers tasked with dispersing said chemical weapons (and their offspring)?
Oh, wait, that was the U.S. government with Agent Orange in Vietnam. It's still paying veterans off for poisoning them.

Maybe Assad is responsible for the chemical attack in Syria this week. Maybe the U.S.-backed rebels are. Either way, it's tragically hilarious that the U.S. government and media continue to pretend they have any sort of moral high ground when it comes to protecting and respecting the lives of civilians in combat zones.

My heart goes out to all the victims, and even the sick individuals "just following orders" while they unleash these atrocities.

Well-settled Muslims and True Islam

THE WELL-SETTLED MUSLIM OF TODAY AND DIFFICULTY IN ACCEPTANCE OF IDEALS OF TRUE ISLAM

It is generally observed that Muslims who are well-settled in life and who also have a comparative advantage over most people in country regarding worldly education, are not really inclined to living life as per True Islamic ideals. This happens because such breed of Muslims become used to lot of diversions and hobbies in life which are opposed to Islam due to having abundant resources. They also lay greater emphasis on logic and deny teachings of TRUE ISLAM which are based on the knowledge of THE UNSEEN.

Yes, the message of Allah and His Prophet (pbuh) is about THE SPIRITUAL which is hidden from ordinary level of human perceptions. That message has to be subscribed to with a pure heart and with passage of time through constant practice of Islamic obligations and acts cross-verified from different sources, the believer's heart opens to THE TRUTH ultimately. Let's hope that Almighty Allah grants all of us the true vision of Islam and makes it easy for us to practice TRUE ISLAM in its entirety instead of working against it - Aameen.

The Courageous Prophet (pbuh)

THE COURAGEOUS PROPHET (PBUH)

The Sahaba said that the Prophet ﷺ was so courageous, powerful and brave that during battle, they would seek his protection whilst they themselves were the greatest of warriors, and no one would be closer to the enemy than the Messenger of Allah. ﷺ

Yet when he would see the babies of Madinah in discomfort, his beautiful eyes would shed tears due to the mercy of his pure heart.

My noble brothers, this is manhood.

Pious people and repentance

PIOUS PEOPLE AND REPENTANCE

Pious people are not people who do not make mistakes or sins. Everyone sins but he repents and rise up again. No point if you do Tahajjud at night and tomorrow morning you feel you are the best person in the entire city. It would have been better for you to sleep than to pray, if the prayers only result in you feel proud (ujub).

My Breakfast And You

MY BREAKFAST AND YOU:

Today we will discuss about what to have for breakfast with emphasis on well-being. This post is just meant to serve as a thought-provoking piece and one can further improvise on it.

It is often said that we should have a proper breakfast because we are starting the day. That is true and we need to pay good attention to what food items we are consuming when we wake up after a 8-10 hours fast.

I have a very simple breakfast but I will share with you what I take. First of all, I eat two dates (khajoor) from the local market, not the fancy ones covered or sprinkled with sugar or honey. Next comes a full-boiled egg for nourishment. Lastly, I prepare "doodh patti" (milk from fresh Gawala milk from a somewhat trusted source) and then take it with two slices of "BRAN BREAD" (after baking in the toaster).

"Doodh patti" eliminates the craving for having tea and it tastes even better. Eating "BRAN BREAD" is good for your health compared to white bread. However, if you want to have yet something better then go for home-made "chappati" instead in the morning (one side wet with water and then butter applied to it) as it makes you energetic in the morning. Having cereal is also good but for that you need to make sure you are avoiding "cosmetic" cereal brands that are available in the market.

Other than dates, fruit should be avoided for breakfast. The ideal time to have fruit is about two hours after breakfast on an empty stomach i.e. around 11 AM or so.

ALL THE BEST,

Syed Roman Ahsan.
