AoA – You are urged to watch these videos posted on Facebook (links below) in which some ordinary American citizens are speaking about Islamic extremism Vs. US policies. They help remove a false picture which even many Muslims have about the extent of Islamic extremism and its origin.

It is admitted that some incidents like the recent burning down of a factory in Jehlum (Pakistan) over blasphemy are terrible. Muslims don’t have the right to destroy property or to kill innocent people in the name of Islam. Any punishment should only be given by the law. Still, it cannot be ruled out that some forces might be trying to defame Pakistan and Islam using every opportunity they can get.

This is the age of mass media productions. An actor will do anything or everything in his/her role in these times. Progressiveness is good but what we are witnessing today is godlessness and promiscuousness to appease the viewers. It is said that "Terrorism has no religion". That is true, but unfortunately, we can also say today "Celebrities have no religion". Though the degree is less severe yet still detrimental for the spirit of Muslims in a nation like Pakistan (even if we have some good people in media). And we can see today that Pakistani actors more than willingly want to act in Indian movies caring little for our Islamic and cultural heritage. They think they are creating interfaith harmony yet the fact is they are losing their religion and setting wrong trends for the youth.
