Avengers Vs Messengers

*Avengers Vs Messengers*

*Let's teach our children ;*

Before Iron-Man, there was Hadhrat Dawood Alayhis Salaam, the one who could bend iron and metal with his bare hands, since iron used to melt in his hands as a miracle.
[Qur'aan 34:10].

Before Superman, there was Hadhrat Sulaymaan Alayhis Salaam, the one who could fly by controlling the winds.
[Qur'aan 38:36]

Before Ant-Man - the one who enlarges to 60 feet tall, there was Hadhrat Aadam Alayhis Salaam who was created 60 feet tall.
[al-Bukhaari, 3336; Muslim, 7092]

Before Wolverine - the one who cures himself instantly, there was Hadhrat Esaa Alayhis Salaam, the one who could do one better and cure others instantly by the will of Allaah.
[Qur'aan 3:49]

Before Aquaman - the one who communicates with sea-creatures, there was Hadhrat Sulaymaan Alayhis Salaam who could communicate with ALL creatures.
[Qur'aan 27:16]

It's human nature to want a hero, albeit a super one. And if we fail to provide our children with the correct one, they will naturally fill that void with an imaginary one.

Alhamdulillah for a religion that has granted us real-life superheroes who not only serve as timeless and practical role-models we can follow, but also provide abundant guidance in regards to this world and the next, sufficing us the need to look elsewhere.

Ramadan Message for PTI Followers - 2019

RAMADAN MESSAGE FOR PTI FOLLOWERS - 2019

THIS IS A POST I WROTE FOR A FOUNDER OF A FACEBOOK GROUP WHO LIVES IN PESHAWAR - IF YOU READ THE POST YOU WILL KNOW WHY I WROTE IT

X Khan, Assalam-o-Alaikum. I want to share a few concerns with you and sincerely hope that you will try to understand this message.

In 2011, I prepared a PowerPoint Presentation to promote Imran Khan and floated it through email. Apart from that, I have been supporting him from time to time also. However, I have had more interest in Islam since childhood and had been focusing on Islamic research since 2005. My professional field was Qualitative Research (involving data analysis and report-writing etc.) and I applied the same mind to Islam then. Hence, I read many articles by Islamic scholars, read books also and listened to lectures also apart from attending religious gatherings. In 2007, I compiled a book with selected articles by scholars in English and distributed copies also to others.

In 2008-2009, I worked as a journalist in magazine section of THE NATION also. After leaving THE NATION, some of my columns have been published in different English newspapers also though I never claim that my work was ever at par with senior columnists of Pakistan.

Now, coming to Imran Khan, if someone supports him then that is their choice. But he cannot tell others to SHUT UP just because they are criticizing the Great Khan  I personally am against Nawaz Shareef, Zardari and Fazlur Rehman, but it does not mean Imran Khan is a Saviour or Messiah of Pakistan. Right now, I also agree he is a better choice compared to other politicians but I was still never his follower. I believe we have many good persons in Pakistan who can be greater leaders in Pakistan but as long as the current electoral-political system of democracy is in place, we can never discover them.

We cannot say there are no other options for public. We have to first trust in Allah and try to follow commandments of Allah (swt) and His Prophet (pbuh) instead of blind trust in any national leader of Pakistan. Our biggest saviour is our religion Islam and we have to just try to follow it sincerely.

Imran Khan has been coining big slogans like 'Tabdeeli', ' Naya Pakistan' and 'Madinah state' to win supporters. Especially the claim to recreate a Madinah State is just a hoax as the foundation of Madinah State was not on worldly goals rather on the golden principles of Islam. Prosperity is secondary - first we have to understand the true spirit of Islam. Muslims under the benevolent leadership of our Dear Prophet (pbuh) suffered in Madinah and fought three bloody battles with meagre resources but what they clung on to was the true spirit of Islam. But the present government has rather been engaged in dirty politics by appointing jokers like Amir Liaquat with little character in government - it is just politics and not trust in Allah.

If one truly trusts Allah, then the focus is not on foul politics. One might even lose heavily in the eyes of world but not deal in foul measures. Alarmingly, Mr. Imran Khan is currently far from the true spirit of Islam in most of his endeavours. At least, he should avoid such announcements that the government will make super science out of 'Roohaniat' (spirituality). That only exposed his faulty concepts and vision about Islam. And then such a person says he will recreate Madinah State. One shudders with horror what will happen to people on Judgment Day who have been playing with the basic concepts of Islam. It is still time to repent and amend one's mistakes for we are here in this world for a very brief period!

The other concern is about followers of Imran Khan. Today we have social media and every Tom, Dick and Harry is free to say whatever he thinks on Facebook whether he has any brains or not. Most Pakistanis do not have brains even if they have got education from colleges or universities. Your degree is just a piece of paper - your education is seen in your behaviour. Calling every other person 'Patwari' (and abusing) just because he/she criticizes the Great Khan does not elevate you to a higher status, especially when the one you are criticizing does not support your rival political party (and in fact no political party in some cases). It is not about Noon-League or PTI all the time.

Many of us concerned Pakistanis have the right to question the policies of our government and the ways/inclinations of the Great Khan with regards to 'Tabdeeli', 'Naya Pakistan' and 'Madinah State'. Pakistan belongs to Pakistanis and not PTI waalaas who have only woken up since 2014 with the start of Disco Dharnas of the Great Khan. Dharnas and Jalsaas were their right but our concern is basically on the way they were conducted. In most of his jalsaas Mr. Khan would appear on the stage at 9 pm and then they would proceed till after midnight. They were organized more like concerts than Jalsaas. Mr. Khan, times might have changed but the spirit of Islam is still as much relevant as it was 1400 years ago. At least you could have followed the style of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah who proceeded very decently in his processions.

In the end, all of us are wrong-doers but we have to subscribe to the right spirit of Islam. May ALLAH (swt) guide us and protect us - Aameen.

SOMEONE POSTED THIS COMMENT AGAINST THE ABOVE NOTE - "Why do we always rely on others? If our country needs a true leader, instead of criticising others, why not become a leader, by self?"

MY RESPONSE: "Leadership comes in different roles. A Prime Minister is not the only kind of leadership role. A mother is also a leader who protects her children and cares for them. Similarly, writers, thinkers, analysts etc, are also leaders in their own domain - they provide a thought-process to people and give them direction on diverse matters."

PM Imran, 'Roohaaniat' & University

PM IMRAN, 'ROOHANIAT' AND UNIVERSITY

VIDEO - PM IMRAN LAYS FOUNDATION OF UNIVERSITY AT SOHAWA

Prime Minister Imran Khan laid foundation of university at Sohawa. Imran Khan said in his speech that "we will make super science out of spirituality" (Hum Roohaaniat Ko Super Science Banaingay). But he pronounced the word "roohaniat" wrongly and got stuck in it.

Now about his aim to make super science out of Roohaniat. Science is from THE MATERIAL WORLD - Spirituality or Roohaaniat is never from THE MATERIAL - Spirituality is opposite of Science (though gaining scientific knowledge is not forbidden in Islam). Basically, science is derived from material sources while spirituality has nothing to do with the material. Spirituality is a gift from Allah to His close ones - even when one someone proceeds on the right path, we say it is only due to guidance (hidayat) of Allah.

If the head of the state of a Muslim country says publicly that he wants to make a super science out of spirituality then that is too misleading and it can negatively impact the beliefs of the nation at large. Thus, such a conduct or manner is highly irresponsible on part of a leader of Pakistan. The financial corruption of previous leaders should definitely be addressed but we cannot call ourselves moral just by doing so and have to consider our own ills also with an attempt to improve ourselves!

Only a few Muslims have spiritual experiences which cannot be achieved through conducting university research. We wonder why the Prime Minister wants to be innovative about Islam when his basic concepts are not correct as proved repeatedly by his gestures and actions especially since 2014 (before he was not so exposed as he has been lately and that is why we promoted him also then)?

So all this is basically leading the masses further astray from Islam. It should be remembered that nobody among us is without fault but the spirit of Islam should be understood properly and efforts made in that direction then.

In 2015, I even suggested in a post that Imran Khan needs to undergo a proper Islamic course of even 6 months or so to clear his many confusions about Islam (and to understand the true spirit of 'deen'). It is true that today some Islamic scholars or 'ulema' do not act very upright but there are still many good conventional Islamic institutions that are working according to the right spirit of Islam. Some modern institutions have also crept up today unfortunately whose only job is to challenge the conventional thought and philosophies of Islam and there is no doubt most of them are funded by enemies of Islam.

Ramadan - Start - 2019
