THE RETURN OF JESUS (PEACE BE UPON HIM)
Prophet Jesus (pbuh) has a special place in Islam. Out of 1,24,000 Messengers of Allah (peace be upon them all) since the time of Prophet Adam (pbuh), Prophet Jesus (pbuh) is the second-last Messenger before the coming of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with a difference of 600 years between the two.
Prophet Jesus' (pbuh) role is not finished and the End times will prove that. He will return soon from the heavens to kill Anti-Christ (Dajjal) and to rule the world. He will not be coming with any new religion or as a Prophet but as a final Messiah and as a follower of the last Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). After killing the Anti-Christ, he will rule the world for a period of 40 years according to the true moral values of Qur'an and Sunnah.
The world will witness a Golden Age during those 40 years and abundance of wealth and natural resources so that no one will be left poor and needy. According to many scholars, the time is not so far away. However, before that Golden Age, mankind will be subjected to worst kind of trials and sufferings and thus we need to prepare for that lest we fall victim to the traps of Anti-Christ.
