"Ruling System in Pakistan"

RULING SYSTEM IN PAKISTAN & QUESTION OF ISLAM:

We all want a good solution on the ruling system of Pakistan but when some people say "Islam does not force itself on to others. Everyone has the religious freedom" we hope they fully understand what they are saying here. Islam is neither a toy nor a buffet which leaves us with a choice to select what we like and reject what we don't like. On the other hand, we also don't want people using Islam for their own benefits.

Islamic governance system has to be imposed at the top whether the "majority" or the masses like it or not. It is opposed to democracy. Majority of the Muslims in this world or our country unfortunately do not follow Islam or try to understand it. So does it mean we should go for the wishes of the majority and ignore the commandments of Almighty Allah & His Messenger (pbuh)?

The true Islamic governance system should not only prohibit immoral activities in the state but it should provide protection to the individual rights and religious beliefs of all citizens of the state, including the minorities. Still, the imposition of the Islamic social, economic and political systems is necessary at all levels in a Muslim State, whether majority people like it or not, since it is in their benefit at large. People would not be forced about their individual religious inclinations and practices though. However, the law of Allah should prevail in all spheres. Iqbal's "Khudi" doctrine gives great perspective also which we should subscribe to. ~ Roman Ahsan.
