اذان کاادب یہ ہے کہ جب اذان ہورہی ہو تو حتی ٰ الامکان خاموش ہو جانا چاہیے اور آنحضرت ﷺ نے اس کی بھی تاکید فرمائی ہے کہ اذان کے ہر لفظ کا جواب دینا چاہیے۔یعنی جو جو الفاظ مؤذن کہتا جائے وہ سننے والے کو بھی کہنے چاہیے ۔ البتہ جب موذن حَیَّ عَلَی الصَّلٰوةِ اور حَیَّ عَلَی الفَلَاح کہے تو لَا حَولَ وَلَا قُوةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰہِ ان کلمات کے جواب میں کہنا چاہیے ۔اور  فجر کی نماز میں مؤذن الصَّلٰوةُ خَیرُ مِّنَ النَّومِ کہے تو اس کے جواب میں صَدَقتَ وَ
بَرَرتَ کہنا چاہیے ۔

آنحضرت ﷺ نے اذان کے بعد جو دعا تلقین فرمائی۔ اس میں آپ ﷺ کے لیے "وسیلہ " کی دعا موجود ہے ۔ وہ دعا یہ ہے ۔

اللَّهُمَّ، رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ إِنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ آنحضرت ﷺ نے اذان کے بعد یہ دعا پڑھنے والے کو یہ بشارت دی ہے کہ قیامت کے دن اس کے لیے آنحضرت ﷺ کی شفاعت واجب ہو جائے گی ۔ (بخاری )

اذان کا جو اب دینے اور اذان کے بعد یہ دعا ء پڑھنے میں کوئی دیر نہیں لگتی نہ کوئی محنت کرنی پڑتی ہے۔ صرف دھیان دینے اور عادت ڈالنے کی بات ہے ۔ اگر ان اذکار کی عادت ڈال لی جائے تو بغیر کسی دقت اور محنت کے انسان کو بہت عظیم اجر وثواب حاصل ہو جاتاہے اس لیے اذان کے وقت ان آداب کا پور اخیال رکھنا چاہیے ہاں ! کوئی عذر ہوتو بات اور ہے ۔

یہاں یہ بھی یاد رکھنا چاہیے کہ اگر کسی جگہ ایک سے زیادہ مسجدوں کی اذانیں یکے بعد دیگرے سنائی دیتی ہوں تو صرف پہلی اذان جو صاف سنائی دے اس کا جواب دینے سے یہ سنت ادا ہو جاتی ہے ۔ بعد میں ہونے والی اذانوں کا جواب اگر نہ دیا جائے تو کچھ حرج نہیں

First Help Those In Pakistan

FIRST HELP THOSE IN PAKISTAN

There is oppression and violence against Muslims in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Burma, Egypt etc. but what clan we do about that? Very little except mere words. However, what we can really do is first look around us where we live and care for the poor and needy in our neighbourhood. That is in our hands.

There are so many ways we can hep the poor and needy in Pakistan whether they are from any faith. Poor and needy people need money, food, clothes, kitchen utensils and other items. We can help them with whatever we can afford to give and with pure intention so that the charity is accepted in the way of Allah. May Allah help us with such deeds - Aameen.

A legend worthy of emulation

A LEGEND WORTHY OF EMULATION:

It was in the year 1963 and Nigeria’s first and only Prime Minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa took his annual leave and was off to his village to spend it. Then a British photojournalist came along but they told him that the PM had gone on vacation.

The photojournalist then asked to which country but he was shocked when they told him the PM went to spend the vacation in his own village. To satisfy his curiosity, he decided to travel to the village. But on getting to the village, there was no sign that a big man was in town.

Everyone went on their normal business and the village was peacefully quiet. Then he met a farmer along the way with his donkey carrying bales of sugarcane, and he asked from the farmer the house of the PM. The photojournalist was again left speechless when the farmer told him that he had just left the PM and that if he gets to the PM’s house, which he described, he would meet him sitting on the bare floor with his kids enjoying the sugarcane that he gave them.

The British photojournalist was dazed when he reached the PM’s home. Attached herein is the picture that he took. May the labours of our heroes past never be in vain.

Today, we have vagabonds and thieves in power. Those who disturb an entire city with sirens and their empty noises of vanity. Those who loot the treasury of an entire nation and still insult our common intelligence with their embarrassing incompetence.

Nigeria has all it takes to become the greatest nation on earth. All we need are visionary, dedicated and inspiring leaders and not the shameless rogues and incorrigible kleptomaniac bandits who lie, rob, cheat, rig and kill their way to power. May our nation be rid of such criminals to be replaced by the likes of the Balewa's.

مشرف کے دور میں سینکڑوں پرائیویٹ چینلز وجود میں یوں آئے جیسے برسات کے بعد بے تحاشا کھنبیاں پُھوٹ نکلتی ھیں اور ھر چینل پر ”صبح کی نشریات“ کی وبا پھیل گئی۔

 میزبان خواتین نخرے دکھاتی حکمت کے موتی بکھیرنے لگیں ، رقص کرنے لگیں۔ ”مارننگ شوز“ نہ ھوئے گویا نائٹ کلب ھو گئے۔

اور ان میں سے اکثر میزبان بلکہ میزبانیاں نشریات کے آخر میں ایک چھوٹی سی بات بھی ارشاد کیا کرتی تھیں کہ آج کی بات ، ایک چھوٹی سی بات یہ ھے کہ ، ”آج موسم کتنا خوشگوار ھے“۔ یا ”لپ اسٹک اِن دنوں جامنی رنگ کی ھونٹوں پر تھوپیں“ وغیرہ.

اُن دِنوں مجھے دبئی میں ریکارڈ ھونے والے نادیہ خان شو میں خصوصی طور پر مدعو کیا گیا اور نادان نادیہ نے میرا تعارف کرواتے ھوئے کہا کہ ، ”تارڑ صاحب از دی فادر آف آل مارننگ شوز“ یعنی میں تمام مارننگ شوز کا باپ ھُوں۔

میں نے نادیہ کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ھُوئے کہا کہ ، ”بی بی !!مجھے معاف کرو اِن مارننگ شوز کے ایک دو بچوں کو تو میں پہچانتا ھُوں ، بقیہ میرے بچے ھرگز نہیں ھیں، جانے کس کے بچے ھیں؟؟۔

(NOTE: This is a delicate issue but still needs to be addressed so that we know the truth)

Some bloggers in Pakistan went missing recently. It has not been established yet who apprehended them. However, the most alarming thing is that they were running a Facebook page 'Bhensa' with extremely inflammatory blasphemous content against Almighty Allah and our dear Prophet (pbuh).

These bloggers claimed to be human rights activists but the extremely offensive content on their Facebook page is very hurtful to the sentiments of the majority of Pakistanis who love Islam. The civil society members of Pakistan need to understand the difference between 'Freedom of Expression' and hate-speech against Islam's basic values before holding protests in favour of those Bloggers.

The Evil Within

THE EVIL WITHIN

We have to fight the evil within ourselves and the evil all around. Most of us are saddened and alarmed as to how our enemies have managed to divide Pakistanis into two groups after 9/11. This they achieved by launching their bogus war on terror inside Pakistan following their invasion of Afghanistan (and with passage of time they created terrorist groups in tribal areas of the country). Hence the need is to bridge the gap between these two groups, both of whom claim to be righteous.

The second main incident which has divided us is the case of Salman Taseer's murder. Frankly speaking, we should have more sympathy for Aasia Bibi than Taseer. Taseer handled the whole affair very irresponsibly and when someone holds an authoritative position in a Muslim country, then he should act mature and not use careless street language in front of camera especially if it is a delicate matter involving Islam. Taseer's 'repeated' behaviour was not expected from someone who was the Chairman of WorldCall Group, the founder of Daily Times and also the Governor of Punjab.

ADVICE FOR YOUTH (CHAPTER 1)

Act more and more also on what you preach. Don't spend too much time on Facebook. Gain more and more experience of everything in real life. Meet people, play healthy sports and games, help people, read good books and magazines/Digests, watch good and clean movies also but not too often, watch TV shows/discussions that build your knowledge (both worldly and religious), read Qur'an both with and without translation, respect your elders, be kind to children, girls learn recipes of popular dish items (both vegetables and meat), for young men go to mosque for regular prayers also, help the poor if you can in any way, learn new skills if you can, exercise regularly, try to verify crucial information on Internet from authentic sources before you share, say your prayers (Salah) 5 times a day and lastly always try to speak the truth.

Imran Khan has good intention but he just needs to be careful about what he interprets about Islam or how he presents Islam. It would be good if he seeks the help of good Islamic scholars (not those like Ghamdi etc.) to renew or refresh his basic concepts on Islam. Doing a 6-month long or so course on Islam would also help him in sha Allah.

Do not take medicines (tablets, capsules) with cold water. In Summers, do not use cold fridge water for this purpose and instead use drinking water with normal room temperature. And in Winters, always heat the drinking water a bit so that it turns a little warm before taking medicines with it.

Life is wonderful. It is amazing how we change with time but the core principles remain the same for many people. My pic on top is from 2010 (home office) and on bottom is a very recent pic (Dec 2016). Our gains and losses in this life journey make us realize that our Creator is monitoring everything. Success can make us proud at times and failure, humble. Whatever the case, our learning should never stop and we should remain students till we depart for the next world.
