 He is that blessed and noble man who lost his father before he was born in Rabi' al-Awwal. Can you imagine the difficulty? He is that precious human who lost his mother at the tender age of six years old in the middle of the Arabian desert. He looked upon her with his beautiful eyes whilst her illness increased and he witnessed her leave this world whilst he was so young. Can you imagine the greatness of that test? His grandfather began to look after him. He poured all of his love and affection upon him but by the age of 8 he had already lost him. Can you imagine the pain? His wife was the most beloved person in the world to him and he lost her in the most testing of times. Can you imagine the yearning? His uncle who looked after him from the age of 8 and was his security in Makkah - He passed away before him.

He saw the martyrdom and mutilation of Sayyiduna Hamza who was like his father and it broke his blessed heart. Can you imagine the strength? He lost his aunty and she was like a mother to him so he lay in her grave and buried her with his own hands. Can you imagine the loyalty? He lost his sons whilst they were young children. He went through the pain of burying four sons in his lifetime and it caused his blessed eyes to weep. Can you imagine the hardship? He saw the torture and killing of the companions he grew up with and his soul never stop yearning for them. Can you imagine the love? He went to Badr and returned to find his daughter had passed away. Can you imagine the longing? Life continued and he buried two other daughters with his blessed hands. Can you imagine his strength?

Despite all of this - a companion said, "I never saw him except with a smile upon his face!' His sahaba said he never stood or sat down except that he praised Allah no matter the situation. Can you imagine his character? ﷺ. May Allah cure our ill ones, mend our broken hearts, and bless us with patience and strength to face adversity and tribulation.

عالمی شہرت یافتہ کھیوڑہ کی کانوں کا نمک نایاب ہے اور اسے کرہ ارض کے خالص ترین اور مہنگے نمکیات میں سے ایک سمجھا جاتا ہے۔ یہ پوری دنیا میں اسپیشلٹی فوڈ کے طور پر استعمال ہوتا ہے، ہوا سے چلنے والے پانی کے غسل کے علاج میں، اور گھر کی سجاوٹ کے لیے بھی اس کے لاجواب فوائد کی وجہ سے۔ صحت کے شعبے میں اس کے استعمال کی وجہ سے یہ مختلف مذہبی طریقوں کا بھی ایک اہم حصہ ہے، خاص طور پر ہندو مذہب میں۔

پاکستان یہ نمک بھارت کو سستے داموں برآمد کرتا ہے۔ مثال کے طور پر، 2016 میں، ہندوستان نے پاکستان سے 2.98 روپے فی کلو کی قیمت پر 625 میٹرک ٹن گلابی نمک خریدا اور کوریا، امریکہ، متحدہ عرب امارات، کینیڈا، صومالیہ اور اسپین کومہنگے دام 3500 روپے فی کلوکے حساب سے 15.09562 میٹرک ٹن نمک برآمد کیا۔اور وہ بھی انڈیا نے اپنے نشان اور پروڈکٹ کا لیبل لگا کر بیچا۔ بھارت پاکستان میں کان کنی ہونے والے نمک کو باقی دنیا کو برآمد کرتا ہے اور اس سے مختلف قسم کی دیگر اشیاء بناتا ہے۔ اسرائیل اور فرانس بھی ہمارے نمک کو اپنی مصنوعات کے طور پر مارکیٹ کر رہےہیں ۔

ایمیزون پاکستان سے درآمد کردہ ہمالیائی گلابی نمک (پراسیسڈ اور پیکڈ) کی پیشکش کر رہا ہے جس کی قیمت 26.40 ڈالر فی 400 گرام ہے، جو کہ تقریباً پاکستانی 8 ہزار روپے بنتی ہے ۔

لیکن اس سب میں ایک بات سمجھ سے بالا تر ہے کہ گلابی نمک ایک قدرتی تحفہ ہے جو پاکستان کے ورثے میں آیا لیکن اس نمک سے دنیا کے ممالک اربوں روپے کا منافع کما رہے ہیں اور وہ بھی اپنا لیبل لگا کر لیکن پاکستان کو اس سے کچھ نہیں مل رہا تو اس کی ساری ذمہ داری ریاست پر ہے۔ شئیر لازمی کریں تاکہ ہر پاکستانی کو یہ معلوم ہو۔

ایک شخص نے پانچ سال محنت کر کے ، جوں توں کر کے ایم بی بی ایس (MBBS) کی ڈگری حاصل کر لی ۔ یعنی اب وہ ڈاکٹر بن گیا ۔ علاج کرتا ہے مریضوں کا ۔ لیکن اپنا یہ حال ہے کہ پیٹ باہر نکلا ہوا ہے ۔ توند ایک خطرناک ٹینک کی طرح نظر آتی ہے ۔ وہ اکثر آلو کے چپس کولڈ ڈرنکس کے ساتھ کھاتا ہوا نظر آتا ہے ۔

کیا فائدہ ہوا ایسی ڈگری کا کہ ایسے انسان کو خود اپنی صحت کا خیال نہیں ؟

 CURRENT WAVE OF KILLINGS UNDER LABEL OF BLASPHEMY

There have been some recurring incidents of mobs killing people under the cover of blasphemy in Pakistan since the last few years, the latest being in Swat. The killers are not really practicising Muslims as true Islamic spirit abhors such rash behaviour in the concerned situations. In fact, it is highly speculated that these killings are a result of personal enmity with the accused using the label of blasphemy. However, the incident of Salman Taseer involved a very sensitive case about which different media and religious experts have voiced altogether different opinions. But the current wave of blasphemy killings are very tragic and we need to strongly condemn them. Written material in Urdu should be circulated regarding such matters by the authorities, in order to create restraint among masses, especially in small cities of Pakistan.

آج بڑی تعداد میں 800 اسرائیلی انتہا پسند ( extremist) مسجد الاقصیٰ کے حدود میں داخل ہو گئے ۔ ساتھ میں اسرائیلی پولیس بھی ہے ۔ صیہونی یہودیوں (Zionissts) کا بہت پرانا پلان ہے مسجد الاقصیٰ کو گرا کر ہیکل سلیمانی (third temple) بنانے کا ۔ مسلمانوں کو اس موضوع کے بارے میں علم ہونا چاہئیے ۔ اسرائیلی وزیر اعظم نے ایک دو دن پہلے کہا تھا کہ ہم غزہ میں سات مہینے مزید جنگ لڑیں گے ۔ امریکی حکومت کے مطابق اسرائیل نے رفح میں حملہ کر کے کوئی ریڈ لائن کراس نہیں کی ۔ رفح اصل میں غزہ کا وہ حصہ ہے جہاں فلسطینی پناہ گزین، لاکھوں کی تعداد میں خیموں میں رہ رہے ہیں ۔ دو مہینے سے پوری دنیا اسرائیل کو منع کر رہی تھی کہ رفح میں حملے نہ کرے ۔ افسوس کے اسرائیلی فوج نے بالآخر دس دن پہلے رفح میں بھی حملہ کر دیا ۔

اسی اثنا میں امریکی یونیورسٹیوں کے طالب علم اور دوسرے لوگ اسرائیل کی جارحیت کے خلاف مظاہرے کر رہے ہیں ۔ ان کا ضمیر کم از کم امریکی حکومت کے نمائندوں کے مقابلے میں جاگ رہا ہے ۔ کراچی، پاکستان میں بھی دو تین دن پہلے عوام کی بھاری تعداد نے سڑکوں پر آکر اسرائیلی حکومت کے خلاف مظاہرہ کیا ۔ یہ یاد رہے کہ بہت سے اسرائیلی یہودی جو عوام میں سے ہیں ، وہ اسرائیل کے وزیر اعظم کے خلاف بول رہے ہیں ۔ لیکن اس کے مقابلے میں پھر بھی زیادہ تر عام اسرائیلی یہودی فوج کی تائید کر رہے ہیں اگرچہ اس کے تناسب کا ابھی مکمل اندازہ نہیں لگا جا سکتا ۔

لبنان کے حزب اللہ نے اسرائیل پر کل بہت شدید میزائیلی حملے کئے جس سے اسرائیل کے کئی ایکڑ زمین، آگ کے شعلوں کے لپیٹ میں آگئے ۔ اب صورتحال خطرناک ہوتی جارہی ہے ۔ اسرائیل نے حزب اللہ کو بھرپور جواب دینے کا اعلان کیا ہے ۔ جنگ پھیلتی جا رہی ہے ۔ یمن کے مجاہد بھی مسلسل فلسطینیوں کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں ۔

ہمیں بحیثیت مسلمان فلسطینیوں کی سلامتی کیلئے دعا کرتے رہنی چاہئیے ۔ لیکن فلسطینیوں کو دعا سے زیادہ صحیح معنوں میں مسلم ممالک کی عسکری مدد کی ضرورت ہے ۔

These days, we have a regular guest in our house. A dark brown cat. It seems it's stricken by current heat wave of summer. During the day, it rests in our porch but towards the evening, it sprawls on the metal lawn table where it is found all night. We have placed clay pots with water in the lawn under shade of trees for free birds and cats. It is a form of 'Sadqa' and should be maintained in both summer and winter!
