NATO – Should Turkey leave its membership?
Why is Turkey part of NATO alliance? The same NATO which has been invading Muslim countries especially after 9/11. So if Turkey has downed a Russian plane, whom should we support in this scenario? US supports the insurgency in Syria against Syrian government and Russia is helping the government in getting rid of those insurgents. US & NATO alliance want to overthrow Assad's government and form a military base in Syria (in line with the hundred others in the world) as a precursor to attacking Iran.
COINCIDENCE? - UN was founded in 1945, Israel appeared on the map of the world in 1948 and NATO was established in 1949. Turkey is the only Muslim country which became part of NATO in 1952. The current President of Turkey, Tayyip Erdoğan is hailed by many Muslims. He is considered to be a Muslim with a love for Islam and Ummah. But shouldn't Turkey get out of the evil NATO alliance which only serves the interests of the imperial countries bringing destruction to many Muslim countries especially after 9/11? What do you think?
