It is easy for the elements in public to criticize their rulers everywhere in the world. A ruler has to face tough challenges and he is just a human being who is liable to commit mistakes like others. If we don't learn from their mistakes, then we are apt to repeat them. So this brief post is not about framing anyone but in the spirit of learning. However, it is the overall inclination and approach which govern a ruler's policies, and for that there should be little excuse.

4- It is admitted that the country had sound economic
development otherwise in his era. Still, his overall policies have almost
destroyed Pakistan. How can we blame Zia and close our eyes on what this man
did? The terrorists were not formed in Pakistan by Zia's policies but due to
Mr. Musharraf and mainly due to US imposed war in Afghanistan, and funding by
external agencies.
