So sad that a good man who did his job with such grace died this way. He was with me on Linkedin and he was a fair journalist who used to criticize Imran Khan also. It is very heart-wrenching to see the news of his death this morning .

May Allah grant peace to his soul and patience to his family - Aameen

With Russia-Ukraine situation the signs of World War III (God forbid) cannot be ignored as warned by so many different think tanks and prominent people. What will happen, will happen, but we have to do a little preparation. This is a lecture by Sheikh Imran Hosein and it would benefit us in sha Allah if we listen to it. The world is already in panic over so many issues so I don't think we are creating panic by sharing such an informative lecture. 

Truth is scattered and no one scholar has ALL the knowledge but we have to pay attention to senior scholars of Islam who have credible reputation. We should recommend scholars like Professor Ahmad Rafique Akhtar also.

As for moving to remote village, it is not possible for all of us. But let's not comment against it either. The other advices are very useful also. Step one is not fearing death in our hearts. Step two is seeking protection from Holy Qur'an and completing recitation of one Qur'an in every lunar month. 

Other step is securing your food and water and having ready items like lighters and torch etc. And also taking care of women and children who have no family guardians otherwise. But listening to this lecture can clarify all concerns in a little detail!

In the end, only Allah can protect us, wherever we may be. So we should submit to Him wholly with sincerity and purity in our hearts!
