This post is an excerpt form a Book: Shajr Hae Saya Daar by Syeda Humera Maududi, daughter of Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maududi (RA). The book is actually a compilation of memories of her parents, and this specific excerpt is very much related to the current situation of Muslims all over the world particularly in occupied lands.

Book Authoress, Syeda Humera is recalling an incident that occurred one evening in 1978 with her father, Maulana Maududi. It is about a dream that a GD Pilot of Pakistan Air Force narrated to Maulana Maududi, his reply in the Light of Ahadith-e-Nabvi (S.A.W.) and decisive role of Pakistan Air Force in upcoming wars between Truth and Falsehood.

Dream of A Fighter Pilot & Explanation of Syed Abul Ala Maududi:

In 1978, I (Syeda Humera Maududi) had returned to Lahore from Jeddah to spend summer vacations when this strange incident occurred. It happened so that after Maghrib, two Squadron Leaders of Pakistan Air Force came to see my father. As usual father was busy at his work in his office so he called them in there.

One of the gentlemen who appeared quite perturbed started thus: ‘Maulana, I had a dream which has rendered me greatly troubled upto such extent that I can neither sleep nor eat or do anything with concentration!

"I saw that I have gone to 'Madina Tayyaba' only to see that whole city has been completely destroyed after heavy bombardment. Nor the Masjid of Prophet (SalAllaho Alehe Wassallam) remains neither the Green Dome is there anymore. All houses and buildings have been reduced to rubble. When I reach the spot where Roza-e-Mubarak is situated I see Nabi-e-Karim (SalAllaho Alehe Wassallam) offering prayers outside his tomb. (Then suddenly) I hear some voices as if many people are talking nearby; when I look around I see a staircase going down into a basement. I descend into the basement and am only half way through when I see six or seven Jews, clad only in underwear, wielding large knives are butchering human corpses and piling up the butchered limbs into heaps; while  many more corpses are dangling about the walls (like slaughtered meat). (I at once realized that) These corpses are of the people of Madina! As I see this I flee upstairs in terror unless I meet a similar fate. When I get out of the basement, I see that Nabi-e-Karim (SalAllaho Alehe Wassallam) is completing his salah after ‘Attahyat’ and ‘Salam’. Then He (SalAllaho Alehe Wassallam) looks at me and says: “Don’t worry; this meat will not be sold!” At that moment I woke up."

(The pilot further said) Maulana, since having this dream, my restlessness and panic is growing. Tell me, what could possibly the interpretation of this dream?’

(Being a practical man) My father did not dwell in the world of dreams nor did he use to interpret them. He belonged to the real world and invited the people into the fold of Emaan on logical grounds. Despite this, he was in great shock to hear this dream as even saintly people would scarcely be blessed to have it (because of its intensity, let alone to a seemingly irreligious young man)! How come this clean shaven young pilot has been chosen for this message? Why a star traversing Mujahid of Pakistan Air Force was singled out for this dream instead of some care taker of a shrine, a scholar of compromising temperament or some renowned religious personality?

One thing is evident enough is that in the future, responsibility of leadership of Ummah will be taken up by such gallant young men, and these youth are the very people who will lead the defence and protection of Haramain Sharifain (Two Holy Cities).

Father told those fighter pilots: ‘There is a Hadith of our Beloved Prophet (SalAllaho Alehe Wassallam) narrated by Hazrat Abu Huraira (RAA) which says: “When wars upon wars will rage, Allah will raise a non Arab nation which will be superior in riding (mobility/maneuvers/tactics) and weaponry. They will be entrusted by Allah to support His Deen.” (Mishkawt).

Then he said: ‘this dream also points to a Hadith which is narrated by Hazrat Abdullah bin Umro (RAA): “[In End Times] There will come such people who will be swift as birds and ruthless as beasts.” (Mishkawt). Today we can interpret this Hadith by (rightly) perceiving the warplanes which target and annihilate children, elderly and the women of their (designated) enemies with unprecedented relentlessness and brutality (Remember Shock & Awe Campaign of american crusaders in Iraq War. In the dream, Madina Tayyaba is shown to be devastated by seemingly carpet bombing). No honour, life or property will be safe from their onslaught.

The third Hadith is that the Holy Prophet (SalAllaho Alehe Wassallam) addressed Hazrat Abu Zar Ghaffari (RAA) and said: “O Abu Zar, what will become of you when there will be such hunger in Madina that will prevent you to get up from your bed and to the masjid as this hunger will be tremendously laborious? What will become of you when there will be so much bloodshed that the blood will engulf the ‘Ahjar Azait’ (slippery mountain)?”

Then father narrated the Hadith about Dajjal and said: ‘Your dream points out one thing more: in the upcoming wars between the Crescent & Cross, Air Force will play a decisive role. This is the very reason this dream has been shown to a Fighter Pilot. It is time you should call out Azan in the cockpit of your warplane. Your duty is calling you, protection of Ummah and Haramain Sharaifain is your responsibility now. A Hadith tells that Hazrat Essa (Jesus) (AS) will be reinforced/helped by an Army coming from non-Arab lands which will be superior in the art of war and arsenal. Remember, your first and foremost loyalty must lie with Allah and His Prophet (SalAllaho Alehe Wassallam), then to the Haramain Sharifain (Two Holy Cities) and then to your Motherland. To uphold all these loyalties you must strengthen your relation ship with Allah and Quran and keep seeking help from Allah (in all circumstances).’

After hearing this interpretation the pilots felt comfortable and when they stared to leave, father, despite his illness and acute weakness; got up to shake hands with them and went to see them off at the door saying: ‘Since you have been honoured with the sight of Prophet (SalAllaho Alehe Wassallam), you ought to be honoured accordingly. Now, you have transferred that anxiety and restlessness to me, you were suffering with previously, and I don’t know for how long it will keep assailing my mind.’

That night when he came inside the home for dinner, his face bore a marked tension and distraught (which was extremely unbecoming of Syed Maududi for he had a strong reputation of not cowering down in the worst of situations, instead he was known for his unearthly composure in the sight of extreme peril and terror: may that be sudden arrest from home, being fired upon with a volley of bullets or even death sentence). But when he narrated that dream and his thoughts upon it, we became horrified beyond belief. At that moment, I recalled following verses of Allama Iqbal (RA):

“(O Allah) Although you do not need anything but require your lovers

to prove your Oneness (Touheed) with their blood. Servitude and Love

are two different plains. In servitude Angels take the lead – but O Allah!

You desire mere submission from beings of Light and demands even

more from the creatures of dirt!"

I am convinced that the stage has now been prepared for the arrival of Dajjal (Anti Christ) and Hazrat Essa/Jesus (AS). As our Beloved Prophet (SalAllaho Alehe Wassallam) said in one of his speeches: “Since the day Allah created this world and mankind, no trial is as greater as the trial of Dajjal (Anti Christ/False Massaiah)----He will emerge from the middle area of Syria and Iraq and will quickly move to spread unrest in all directions, he will be everywhere, on right and on left. That is why O servants of Allah, be steadfast. Hark! The trials he brings will include Heaven & Hell. In reality, his hell will be Paradise and his paradise will be Hell. When one of you chance upon getting thrown in that hell, he should seek help from Allah and recite initial ten (10) verses of Surah e Kahf, the fire of (that hell) will be rendered as cold and safe for him as was for (Hazrat)  Ibrahim (AS)”. (Mishkawt).

When I refreshed my memories regarding my father, this dream became more lucid to me. The era we are living in is an interpretation of that dream itself. The destruction of Iraq & Afghanistan, bloodshed in Kashmir and Palestine, the brutality perpetrated in Abu Guraib and Guantanamo Bay prisons, slaughter of Chechen and Bosnian Muslims deny any room for doubt! There we see a saga of sorrows of the followers of our Beloved Prophet (SalAllaho Alehe Wassallam) and on the other hand we see glad tidings and invitations to act. This all give us reasons for learning.

The strength and support to be received from non-Arab lands of which father informed the pilots, has also been corroborated by a statement of former Army Chief of Egyptian Armed Forces, General Almushir Abu Ghazala; which was published in a popular newspaper Daily Al-Ahram. He says: ‘The Armed Forces of Pakistan are the guarantors of the safety of Arabs because they can hit even Israel (with their expertise and weaponry). That is why the Arabs should help Pakistan in her economic crisis. Success of Pakistan is the success of Arabs.’ Then again another popular daily of Arab world Al-Ittihad published his analytical article which says: ‘Pakistan is a great military power owing to its nuclear warheads and if Pakistan is harmed all Arab world will feel the consequences of it.’ These statements of General Abu Ghazala further elucidate the right explanation of that dream.

کسی مشکل کی دوری یا جائز حاجت کیلئے وظیفہ - قاری الیاس کا بتایا ہوا

 ( آخر  میں نوٹ بھی پڑھیں)

اللہ الصمد 125 بار پڑھیں سجدے میں سر رکھ کر ۔ روزانہ تہجد کی نماز کے بعد ۔ رات کے تیسرے پہر ۔ پھر سجدے سے سر اٹھا کر اپنی مشکل کی دوری یا جائز حاجت کیلئے دعا کریں ۔ 

تہجد کی نماز سے پہلے سونا ضروری نہیں ہے ۔ تہجد کی نماز میں 8 یا 12 رکعتیں پڑھنی چاہیئے، دو دو نفل کر کے ۔ لیکن وقت کم ہو تو 2 ، 4 یا 6 رکعتیں بھی پڑھ سکتے ہیں ۔

نوٹ : کیا وظیفے کرنے چاہیئں ؟ جواب یہ ہے کہ پہلے مسنون راستہ اختیار کرنا چاہیئے جو قرآن و سنت میں بتایا ہوا ہو - مثلاََ حاجت کیلئے سورہِ یٰسین کا صبح پڑھنا اور اس کے علاوہ رات کو دو نفل پڑھ کر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی بتائی ہوئی دعائے حاجت پڑھ کر پھر دعا کرنا - اور مشکل کی دوری کیلئے آیتِ کریمہ یعنی “ لا اِلٰہَ اِلا اَنتَ سُبحانَکَ اِنی کُنتُ مِنَ الظٰلمِین “ کا ورد کرنا جو کہ حضرت یونس علیہ السلام نے مچھلی کے پیٹ میں پڑھی تھی - باقی یہ کہ وظیفے زیادہ نہیں کرنے چاہیئں اور صرف اس وقت جب کسی دین کے جاننے والے  سے مشورہ کر لیا ہو اور پھر دل بھی مائل ہو

وہ کسی وقت بھی آسکتے ہیں ، یعنی حملہ آور ہو سکتے ہیں (خدانخواستہ) - پاکستان بھارت کے درمیان کشیدگی کی حالیہ صورتحال خطرناک ہے - چین نے اگرچہ بھارت کو کچھ چکرا دیا لیکن بھارتی جنگی جنون اس سے کم نہیں ہوا - بھارت کے ایرچیف مارشل نے جو پرسوں بیان دیا ہے وہ بھی اسی طرف نشاندہی کرتا ہے - کیا پاکستان اور بھارت کے درمیان حتمی یعنی فیصلہ کن جنگ ہونا ہی غزوہ ہند ہے ؟ اس سلسلے میں نوائے وقت میں جنوری ٢٠٢٠ میں چھپنے والا مندرجہ زیل آرٹیکل پڑھیں جس میں تٍفصیل سے قرآن و حدیث سے آخری زمانہ میں ہونے والے واقعات (بالخصوص غزوہ ہند) پر روشنی ڈالی گئی ہے :

غزوہ ہند کی حقیقت‘ شرائط اور تقاضے - تحریر : محمد امین خالد

غزوہ ہند کی شرائط:

1:

 غزوہ ہند علامت کبریٰ ہے کیونکہ یہی فاتح فوج ایلیا یعنی القدس جائیگی تو بعد میں حضرت عیسیؑ کی فوج سے مل جائیگی۔ قرآن پاک میں فرما دیا گیا ہے کہ ’’بے شک عیسیٰؑ قیامت کی نشانی ہیں۔ (سورۃ زخرف آیت :61) سو اس سے ثابت ہوا کہ غزوہ ہند علامات کبریٰ ہے یعنی قرب قیامت کی نشانی ہے۔ حدیث مبارکہ : نبی کریمؐ کی حدیث ہے کہ ’’خراسان سے سیاہ جھنڈے نکلیں گے انہیں کوئی شکست نہیں دے سکے گا مگر یہ کہ وہ ایلیا (یعنی القدس) میں نصب ہونگے اللہ تعالیٰ ان کیلئے ایک ہی رات میں معاملات کو درست کر دیگا۔ البدایہ والنہایہ میں ابن کثیرؒ اس حدیث کو روایت کرتے ہیں۔اس کا مطلب ہے کہ آقا دو جہاںؐ کی بشارت کی تکمیل ہونا ابھی باقی ہے۔ غزوہ ہند دراصل آخر الزمان میں بین الاقوامی جنگوں کے سلسلے میں آغاز ہے۔ غزوہ ہند کی ایک اہم شرط یہ بھی ہے کہ اس غزوہ کی تکمیل حضرت امام مہدیؑ کے ہاتھوں سے ہو گی۔ اس جنگ کو غزوہ کہنے کی وجہ ہی یہ ہے کہ حضور نبی پاکؐ اس جنگ میں حضرت امام مہدیؑ اور امت کی روحانی رہنمائی فرمائیں گے۔

2:

 غزوہ ہند کی بڑی شرط یہ بھی ہے‘ حدیث مبارکہ کے مطابق اس جنگ میں چین بھی شامل ہو جائے گا۔

(التذکرہ صفحہ648): ’’ سندھ کی خرابی ہند سے اور ہند کی چین سے ‘‘

… حضرت امام قرطبی حضرت حذیفہ بن یمانؓ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہؐ نے فرمایا: ’’اور سندھ کی خرابی ہند سے ہے اور ہند کی خرابی چین سے ہے‘‘ اسے ذکر کیا ہے ابو الفرج جوزی نے اپنی کتاب ’’روضۃ المشتاق و الطریق ابی الملک الخلاق‘‘ اس روایت کو امام بن کثیر نے بھی روایت کیا ہے۔ (النہایہ فی الفتن والا ملاحم صفحہ : 57) اس روایت کو امام ابو عمر و دانی نے بھی اپنی کتاب میں روایت کیا ہے۔ (السنن الواردۃ فی الفتن: جلد 2‘ صفحہ 36)

3:

 اس غزوہ کی سب سے اہم شرط یہ ہے کہ تمام عالم کفر متحد ہو جا ئے گا‘ اسلام اور اہل اسلام کو ختم کرنے کیلئے اسی لئے حضور نبی پاکؐ کا فرمان ہے کہ جو بھی اس جنگ مٰں شامل ہو گا وہ جنتی ہے۔

4:

 حضور نبی پاکؐ نے غزوہ بدر کے بعد قیامت تک کسی جنگ کی وہ فضیلت بیان نہیں کی جو آپؐ نے اس جنگ کی فضیلت بیان کی ہے۔ رسول اللہؐ نے فرمایا: ’’افضل الشہد اشہدائے بدر ہیں یا شہدائے غزوہ ہند‘‘

5:

 : جو فوج غزوہ ہند لڑے گی اللہ انکے گناہ معاف کر دے گا ۔ یہ فوج بھی جنتی ہے‘ اس کا امیر بھی جنتی ہے۔

غزوہ ہند کی خوشخبریاں جو احادیث مبارکہ میں وارد ہوئی ہیں۔ اسی وجہ سے صحابہ کرامؓ اس غزوہ میں شامل ہونے کی خواہش اور تڑپ رکھتے تھے۔ (یہی وجہ ہے تاریخ اسلام میں صحابہ کرام سے لے کر بڑی بڑی جلیل القدر ہستیوں نے ہند کی طرف ہجرت کی تا کہ وہ اس غزوہ کو پا سکیں اور یہی وجہ ہے حضور نبی پاکؐ نے فرمایا مجھے ہند کی طرف سے خوشبو آتی ہے۔) ایک دوسری حدیث میں یوں فرمایا… میں عرب میں سے ہوں مگر عرب مجھ میں سے نہیں ‘ میں ہند سے نہیں مگر ہند مجھ میں ہے۔

حضرت ثوبانؓ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہؐ نے فرمایا ’’میری امت میں سے دو گروہ ایسے ہیں جن کو اللہ نے (جہنم کی) آگ سے محفوظ فرما دیا ہے‘ ایک وہ گروہ جو ہند پر حملہ کرے گا اور دوسرا وہ گروہ جو حضرت عیسیٰ بن مریمؑ کے ساتھ ہو گا۔ (التاریخ الکبیر: رقم الحدیث: 1743)

حضرت ابوہریرہؓ نے کہا: اگر میں نے غزوہ پایا تو میں اپنا نیا مال اور اپنے آباو اجداد سے میراث میں ملا ہوا مال بیچ دوں گا اور اس جنگ میں شریک ہوں گا۔ پس جب اللہ ہمیں فتح عطاء فرمائے گا اور ہم واپس لوٹیں گے تو میں (آگ سے) آزاد ابوہریرہ ہوں گا۔ جب وہ لشکر شام آئے گا تو اس میں حضرت عیسیٰ بن مریم علیہ السلام کو پائے گا۔ میں ضرور اس بات کو حرص کروں گا کہ ان سے قریب ہوں اور انکو خبر دوں کہ اے اللہ کے رسول میں نے آپکی صحبت اختیار کی ہے۔ کہا: رسول اللہ مسکرا دیئے پھر فرمایا: دور ہوا دور ہوا۔

حضرت نبی کریمؐ سے مروی ہے کہ فرمایا: ’’ایک قوم میری امت میں سے ہند پر حملہ کریگی اللہ اس کو فتح عطا فرمائے گا یہاں تک کہ وہ ہند کے بادشاہوں کو زنجیروں میں جکڑ کر لائیں گے پس اللہ انکے گناہوں کی مغفرت فرمائے گا پھر وہ لوٹیں گے شام کی طرف تو عیسیٰ ابن مریم علیہ السلام کو شام میں پائیں گے۔‘‘

حدیث: حضرت ابوہریرہؓ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دن رسول اللہؐ نے غزوہ ہند کا ذکر فرمایا۔ آپؐ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ’’ایک لشکر رتمہارے لئے ضرور ہند پر حملہ کریگا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو فتح عطا فرمائے گا۔ یہاں تک کہ وہ ہند کے بادشاہوں کو زنجیروں میں جکڑ کر لائیں گے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ان کے گناہوں کو معاف فرمائے گا۔ جب وہ واپس لوٹیں گے جب ان کو لوٹنا ہو گا تو وہ عیسیٰ بن مریم علیہ السلام کو شام میں پائیں گے۔ حضرت ابوہریرہؓ نے فرمایا: پس اگر میں نے غزوہ پایا تو میں اپنا نیا اور آباؤ اجداد سے میراث میں ملا ہوا مال بیچ دوں گا اور اس غزوہ میں شریک ہوں گا۔ پس جب اللہ ہمیں فتح عطا فرمائے گا تو ہم واپس لوٹیں گے تو میں (آگ سے) آزاد ابوہریرہ ہوں گا۔ وہ لشکر شام آئے گا تو مسیح بن مریمؑ سے ملاقات کرے گا۔ میں ضرور اس بات کی حرص رکھوں گا کہ ان سے قریب ہوں پھر انہیں خبر دوں کہ میں نے اللہ کے رسولؐ آپ کی صحبت اختیار کی ہے۔ کہا: رسول اللہ مسکرا دیئے اور فرمایا: ’’بہت محال‘ بہت محال‘ بہت محال ہے۔

ان مضامین میں حوالہ جات 1۔ قرانی آیات‘ 2۔ احادیث مبارکہ‘3۔ چودہ سو برس میں جو (صاحبان امراز روئے قرآن) آئمہ نے لکھا (تحقیق کے بعد) قرآن : اللہ کی اطاعت کرو اور رسول کی اطاعت کرو اور تم میں جو صاحبان امر ہیں (ان کی اطاعت کرو)۔ جو قرآنی آیات ہیں جن کے بارے میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا فرمان ہے کہ ’’ان میں کوئی شک نہیں اور احادیث مبارکہ میں جن کے بارے میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا فرمان ہے کہ میرا محبوب میری مرضی کے سوابات بھی نہیں کرتا‘‘ ہم نے صرف ان احادیث مبارکہ کو شامل کیا ہے جن کو تعدیل اور جرح کے ماہرین نے تسلیم کیا ہے اور یہ احادیث متواترہ بھی ہیں‘ یہ احادیث مبارکہ اپنے راویوں کی کثرت کی بنا پر حد تواتر اور شہرت عام کے درجہ پر پہنچی ہوئی ہیں اور اہل علم کے نزدیک ثابت شدہ ہیں اور تیسرے آئمہ ہیں جن کے بارے میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا حکم ہے کہ صاحب امر لوگوں کی اطاعت کرو۔ جب قرآنی آیات ہوں‘ احادیث مبارکہ میں وضاحت موجود ہو‘ عقلی و نقلی دلائل موجود ہوں‘ واضح اور روشن فرمان قطعی اور مسلمہ روایات ‘ دلائل موجود ہوں۔ دلیل بھی قائم ہو تو پھر کسی کیلئے عذر نہیں رہ جاتا۔ اتمام حجت کے لئے یہ کافی ہے۔ان احادیث مبارکہ کو صحابہ کرامؓ کی ایک کثیر جماعت نے جن میں خلفائے راشدینؓ ‘ امہات المومنینؓ‘ عشرہ مبشرہؓ اور دیگر صحابہ کرام و تابعین نے روایت کیا ہے۔ سلف سے خلف تک جمہور امت کا اس پر اتفاق ہے۔ ’’جو لوگ قرآن و حدیث کی باتوں کو شک کی نگاہ سے دیکھتے ہیں… وہ حق سے یا روحانیت سے دور پھینک دیئے جائیں گے اور حق سے اندھے بہرے بنا دیئے جائیں گے‘ پس اندھے اور بہرے ہو جاتے ہیں (حق سے) اپنی رائے اور خواہش کے پیچھے لگ جاتے ہیں اور حق سے ہی جھگڑتے ہیں۔ سب سے بڑی سزا کسی انسان یا قوم کیلئے یہ ہوتی ہے کہ جب کوئی فرد یا قوم فتنوں میں پڑ جائے جیسا کہ ہمارے زمانے کا نام ہی دور فتن ہے۔ تو اس کی سوچ کی اور فکر کی قوت مائوف ہو جاتی ہے۔ (ختم شد)
