Suggested Movie - Jan 31, 2015

Starring: Gregory Peck, Anthony Quinn, David Niven, Irene Papas, Anthony Quayle

Entertainment and fun are important in life also. A refreshed mind can be more productive but the only thing is to live a balanced life. It is also a fact that some people need little fun in life while some others want to have fun all the time - Alarm bells!!

In 1980, our father took the whole family to a cinema in Lahore for the movie “The Guns of Navarone” which he had himself watched before. Though I have seen this movie afterwards also in the early 1990s on television but I decided to go for it again recently and bought a DVD.

This movie is not being recommended because it is a war-movie or because you think I want to create a war-frenzy :) The reason is that it is a good action/adventure movie with sequences close to life compared to the trends today. The movie about World War II is based on the novel of the same name by Scottish Writer, Alistair MacLean. Whether Americans were really the heroes in that great war, is a separate topic!

About late actor Gregory Peck – they used to say he was as dignified as the roles he played on screen, particularly in “To Kill A Mocking Bird” and “Roman Holiday”. Still, we need not copy the lifestyles of Hollywood heroes and heroines forgetting our own heritage!

The bygone era of Hollywood used to convey a good value-system when decent language and moral values were still upheld compared to today. Today, being ‘funky’ has become a fad amongst youth due to the current Western media trends. Porn industry has further corrupted the world though thankfully Pakistan Telecom is continuously blocking such sites. We just need to guard our faith by carrying a greater concern for afterlife!

Mr. Raja Mujtaba, the founder of Think-Tank ‘OPINION-MAKER’ - who passed away recently verified my concern in a meeting in early 2013 that with time Hollywood has been slowly taken over by the Zionists, with the agenda of indoctrinating human minds with subtle messages that serve their own purpose.

Once in a while there is no harm in watching a clean ‘old’ Hollywood movie rather than Bollywood movies or Indian Plays. It cannot be denied though that good movies are still being made today but we just need to be careful as we are living in End Times. Good Pakistani and Iranian movies without unnatural song sequences could be recommended too like the Pakistani movie “Khaak Aur Khoon”. My knowledge and perception ends here!

Lastly, the best forms of entertainment are activities like visits to nature spots with your family, friends, relatives or groups. Today, we try to draw solace from computer/TV screens and cell-phones. Prolonged exposure to technological devices can affect our quality of life and health according to experts. But it is bad that we have not created sufficient nature spots, recreation parks etc. Also, many times our fixation with these technological devices hinders us from actively pursuing healthy forms of recreation not to mention ‘runs’ to Masjid for regular prayers!

Shia Killings in Pakistan

The current target killing of the Shias within Pakistan are not the result of any sectarian strife, rather a conspiracy to create divide and destabilize the country. This same strategy had been deployed by international conspirators in other Muslims countries in present times to also keep them destabilized under a global dominance plan.
- Mr. Sethi Mushtaq

Surround Yourself !

Jinnah's Idea of a separate homeland

For all those deluded ones who continue to insist that Islamic Republic should not be affixed with the name Pakistan, because Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, had not founded an Islamic state, but a secular one, they should read the quote in the image above!

Another quote by Quaid is: "Pakistan not only means freedom and independence but the Muslim Ideology which has to be preserved, which has come to us as a precious gift and treasure and which, we hope others will share with us." - Mohammad Ali Jinnah

Some people give the quote below to declare that the Quaid had a secular state in mind:

"You are free; you are free to go to your temples. You are free to go to your mosques or to any other places of worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion, caste or creed—that has nothing to do with the business of the State.”

NOW: Actually, a true Islamic state always encourages religious freedom for individuals from any faith and rather safeguards their worshiping places. Hence, what some people think has nothing to do with what Quaid said. Qur'an is the same for all, so at least Qur'anic laws related to political, social and economic affairs should be implemented at state level of any Muslim country. That would result in safeguarding of the rights of minorities also. Right now, we have a secular governance system operating, that is why we see issues erupting every now and then.

Secular individuals can very well serve in an Islamic system also by the way. They will not be required to grow beard or forced to offer Salah in masjid. That is their personal matter. However, the system has to be Islamic and should revolve around Islam. And of course, capable senior individuals with the right inclinations should be entrusted duties in an Islamic governance system. One day soon, in Sha ALLAH.

AoA> Some posts for today. You are always free to share your concerns whether you are receiving these emails voluntarily or unsolicited. Truth is scattered and scarce!

A strong answer to certain Western elements who repeatedly commit offences against the honour of our Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa-Alaihi Wassallam) is to nurture our love for him deep in our hearts, to fear ALLAH alone and to become good Muslims (not ignoring being a good human as it falls under being a good Muslim).

Shaikh Imran's Dreams - Nuclear War

Shaikh Imran Hosein's Dreams About Nuclear War

IMPORTANT - Nuclear War / Armageddon

Following is a post on Nuclear War from the Facebook page of Scholar Shaikh Imran Nazar Hosein.

Please remember there is nothing as Absolute Truth in these times and ALLAH knows best. But still, I wanted to convey this to you. He is a scholar, and second it is correct according to hadith that believers will have true dreams in End times.

Shaikh Imran Nazar Hosein,
September 2014

Assalaamu 'alaikum!

I write to let you know that I just had two dreams-
One after the other - in which I saw that nuclear war
had started and the missiles were being shot into the sky.

The same thing happened just before 9/11 while I
was still resident in Long Island. I had a dream in
which I saw 9/11 taking place in tall buildings in
Manhattan and I even made mention of the dream in
a Jamu'ah Khutbah which I gave in Masjid Dar al-
Qur'an in Long Islan. 9/11 took place 2 years later.

The Prophet (sallalhu 'alaihi wa sallam) said that in
Akhir al-Zaman the dreams of a believer will seldom
fail to be true. The Implication of my dream is
perhaps, that there is only little time left - perhaps
only a year or two - before the Malhama takes place
and most people resident in the great cities of the
world will die (practicularly in North America and Europe).

Monday Insights - 12 Jan, 2015 / 20 Rabi-ul-Awwal 1436

IK finally weds and sets some good trends with his marriage. We need to be neutral here. Number one, he married a divorced person, a mother of three children, which is quite noble of him. Number two, he did not go ahead with any lavish function and especially the way the couple spent some time on the Valima day with meals for poor children, though some might challenge the timing of his marriage. Let's hope the affluent segment in Pakistan will also learn a few lessons and try to cut down costs on weddings especially since these are trying times for the whole nation. Wedding and Valima functions could very well be celebrated in Pakistan with friends and relatives being invited but their scale needs to be adjusted.

"KILLING OF FRENCH ARTISTS" - with some alterations - Posted at:

In Pakistan, if someone from the minorities commits blasphemy, either consciously or subconsciously, then he/she should be tried in a court and given fair hearing. There is always a chance that innocent Non-Muslims could be framed by others in such a case in Pakistan and we need to be extra careful about such cases. However what excuse could there be for educated people in the West who know very well about the place our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) occupies in our hearts and still proceed ahead with deliberate art competitions or publications to do blasphemy against his persona? Did they not learn what Muslims feel about their "Freedom of Expression" acts especially after 2007 when Denmark published blasphemous cartoons against Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with other countries also following? The West prides itself about its civility and sophistication, and yet they fail to conform to the very basics of human ethics with such acts.

Killing of French Artists

The recent killings of cartoonists in Paris, France starts another controversy against the Muslims. There is no time for sugar-coated words and time to tell it like it is! I did not see those cartoons by the French Artists, however I did see the cartoons by the press in Denmark in 2007 which were printed later on in other Scandinavian countries also. They were really offensive and rebuked our Dear Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). In one cartoon he was shown as a terrorist (Naooz Billah).

The Western elements have been deliberating trying to hurt the sentiments of the Muslims worldwide with their repeated attempts. By the way Islam is the final religion of God, ALLAH Almighty. And it is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who revealed that final message to the world. He was a very compassionate person who even cared for a Jewish lady that used to threw garbage at him every day from upstairs when he used to pass by the same street where she lived.

We Muslims have the obligation to defend his honour and sanctity, so if some people say we should be non-violent like him then they are not aware of the basic principles of Islam. We should be polite and compassionate like him, but NOT WHEN SOMEONE DOES DELIBERATE AND CALLOUS BLASPHEMY AGAINST OUR DEAR PROPHET (PBUH).

However what excuse could there be for people in the West who know very well about the place our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) occupies in our hearts and still proceed ahead with deliberate art competitions to do blasphemy against his persona? The West prides itself about its civility and sophistication, and yet they fail to conform to the very basics of human lessons with such acts.

Islam revolves around the person of Hadhrat Muhammad (pbuh) and without him there would be no Islam. The hooded guys did a great job and I salute them. Nobody would dare again do such a thing, we should hope so now. And we never know if these killings were false flag to start more campaigns against the Muslim world!

AND PLEASE - Muslims don't make fun of any religious founders of others so why do some Non-Muslims have the nerve to draw offensive cartoons (blasphemy) against OUR DEAREST PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PEACE BE UPON HIM) who completed the message of ALLAH with Islam? There is no compromise by Muslims on this issue and the offenders who dare to pick up pens to draw blasphemous cartoons against our Prophet (pbuh) should be punished by the authorities themselves in the West to avoid any emotional reaction by the Muslims. There should be a global law for blasphemy against any religious founder, whether from Judaism, Christianity, Islam or other religions. Needless to say Muslims would never dare do blasphemy against Jesus (pbuh) as we reckon him to the second last Messenger of ALLAH who will descend from heavens near the End of time to strengthen Islam as the reigning religion according to the moral values of Qur'an and Sunnah!

Question of Ethics - Dec.30, 2014

A few months back this year, I shared a story with the email group. It was an Islamic story with a message and lesson received from Ms. Nighat Khan in UK. Do you know what happened next? Mr. Sarfaraz A. Rehman who is CEO of Engro Foods (a local company, manufacturers of Olper’s Milk apart from other products) wrote to me and asked me if he could rewrite it to include it in his blog. Just check the level of humility and ethics! I replied that he could very well rewrite it as rewriting is an accepted norm in the cyber world and in fact he didn’t even have to ask me. Now let’s compare this with another person who received the same story from me, an In-charge of an Islamic and patriotic magazine. That person included the whole story as it is in the magazine which I later found out. Even though we were frequently communicating those days otherwise, the person did not feel the need to ask me about it.

The point is not to talk bad about someone (name is not given for that matter) but we can see how two people behaved differently. One is a very senior professional with close to 30 years of corporate experience and heading a big firm, while the other is someone in-charge of an Islamic magazine with patriotic theme and much junior to me in age and experience (I would not hold that person responsible for any 'offense' even then but the difference is quite obvious).

Hence, dear friends, this is just a lesson with a caveat that it is not necessary if someone is running an Islamic cause or institute, then they might be conforming to high standards of ethics as well. Another lesson is that ‘sometimes’ we might see more ethics in private firms with liberal environments than in Islamic institutes, Masjid or people running Islamic causes. I didn’t mean to disappoint you but this is the sad reality and as someone who is himself trying to contribute something, I might be your culprit as well and needs to be corrected at times!

VIDEO - Causes of Muslim downfall

CHECK THIS VIDEO WHERE MR. JAVED GHAMDI IS IDENTIFYING THE CAUSES OF DOWNFALL OF MUSLIMS - How cute  He says in the last 200 years ALL Muslim thinking is based on false ideals and so he thinks he is the providing the best solution  He also says that ONLY in the first two centuries of Islam did Muslims really focused on Qur'an as the centre. He says that Muslims met downfall due to discarding education. As if we deny the importance and need of education (both worldly and religious with emphasis on Qur'an) for Muslims. The problem in fact is that our educated-segment became too Westernized and did not attach much importance with our own moral values or Eastern heritage. While Islam got confined in the hands of clerics mostly devoid of Western philosophies and worldly education. THAT IS THE MAIN PROBLEM. All of us Muslims need to attach importance with both a mix of Eastern values and "positive" Western philosophies. Allama Iqbal (ra) emphasized on "Heart of the East and mind of the West!"

And also, what has he got to say about colonization of Muslim lands, oppression of Muslims and invasion of Muslim countries especially after 9/11 (whether an inside job or by extremists)? What does Qur'an say in this regard? Are we supposed to remain deaf, dumb and blind in the face of all that? People like Javed Ghamdi are basically trying to dilute the true message of Islam and they will never succeed. They are talking about Muslim brotherhood with Jews at a time when Israel has committed so many atrocities against Palestine, just recently in 2014. Though we should not harbour hate against Jews and Christians in general but we can neither ignore the imperial powers that are bent upon acquisition of natural resources of Muslim lands while continuing with their horrific massacre of millions of Muslims worldwide. Also, they fund insurgency against Muslim countries to justify their WOT. In Qur'an: "O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people." - Surat Al-Mā'idah (The Table Spread) - This verse does not imply that we should associate ourselves with every Christian or Jew, but in current times it is a clear warning for us not to forge alliance with those Western governments carrying imperialistic agenda as well as our neighbouring countries also that are their allies.

When Men Wear Bangles

This pic conveys the epic lesson that when the Zionist world conspires to destroy Muslim world and Islam with their continuous invasion of Muslim lands AND when the Muslim men continue to wear bangles while even small children and old folks are not spared and sisters are raped, then Muslim women in Iran have decided to rise to the occasion and join the Army of Mujahideen in FIGHT against continuous oppression. It is a lesson that the whole Muslim world should all unite just like NATO alliance and prepare not just in military terms but spiritually also in the way of ALLAH - ALLAHU AKBAR - In Qur'an: “O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand.” - Surat Al-'Anfāl (The Spoils of War) - 8:65
