Martyrdom of Sayyiduna Husayn (ra)
Sayyiduna Husayn lost his grandfather, the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ when he was six years old whilst he was the most beloved person in the world to him. Can you imagine the pain? He lost his mother, Sayyidah Fatimah al-Zahra just six months later whilst she was the one who would embrace him and wipe away his tears as a young child. Can you imagine the hardship? He saw the martyrdom of his father, Sayyiduna 'Ali whilst he was the leader of the believers. Can you imagine the difficulty? He saw his brother, Sayyiduna Hasan laying down in his final moments whilst he was the beloved of his heart and his best friend. Can you imagine the hardship?
He witnessed the martyrdom of his baby child on the battlefield whilst he held him in his arms. Can you imagine the test? He left Madinah whilst it was the city that he grew up in, to fulfil the mission of his Beloved ﷺ. Can you imagine the sacrifice? He experienced hunger and thirst for days upon end whilst he was the grandchild of the Prince of al-Kawthar. Can you imagine the patience? He saw the oppression of his household whilst they were purified and raised, yet he never lost hope. Can you imagine the courage? He gave up his soul in order to bring life to this religion. Can you imagine his greatness?
He lived a life of hardship to give ease to us. He went through war so we could experience tranquility. He led the way just so we could follow. No believer goes through any test in this life except they are able to take him as an example, a role model and a source of comfort. رضي الله عنهم

Hamza Khan won the world junior squash championship, winning it for Pakistan after 37 years. Last time was Jansher Khan who won it in 1986.

COOKING FOOD
Last night I cooked koftay aaloo for my parents. It may sound strange but from this year I learned cooking also Al-hamdulillah and feel some kind of power within 
. Actually on 20th Ramzan this year, our cooking maid suddenly left the job. I panicked but then started following local food recipes on YouTube.

Cooking food just requires patience and step by step procedures. Why should men feel shy about cooking? If we are good at workplace then we can master cooking also easily. Now we do have a cooking maid but I still prefer cooking special meals sometimes because most of these maids don't do justice to their jobs. They just want to get over the task quickly so they can go home. ALAS !!!

Pope Francis decries the burning of the Holy Qur'an in Sweden:
In an interview with the United Arab Emirate's daily 'Al-Ittihad,' Pope Francis laments the burning of the Holy Qur'an, Islam's holiest book, in Sweden.
"I feel indignant and disgusted by these actions," Pope Francis expressed to Hamad Al-Kaabi, editor of the UAE's daily Al-Ittihad, regarding the burning of pages of the Quran in Sweden in recent days.
“Any book considered sacred by its people must be respected out of respect for its believers, and freedom of expression must never be used as an excuse to despise others, and to allow this, must be rejected and condemned.”
