THE BLACK ABAYA CONTROVERSY:

Yesterday, I shared a post on Facebook on prohibition of 'Riba' (interest) and wearing of a Black Abaya (which is different from Burqa) by Muslim women in relation to 'True Islam' and someone asked me where is it quoted in Holy Qur'an about wearing a Black Abaya. Thus I narrated two verses from Holy Qur'an which give direction in this sensitive matter to us (Please check link: https://www.soundvision.com/article/quranic-verses-about-hijab) . Now, the point is that if a Muslim woman does not wear an Abaya but wears a modest dress otherwise which covers her properly, then it does not mean she will not qualify for paradise. In the end, only Almighty ALLAH will judge us and He has the only authority to grant leniency to someone while being strict with others. Still, if a Muslimah wears an Abaya and is striving to fulfill her obligations to both Allah and people around her and her heart is free of jealousy, hatred and pride, then in general she knows the path to salvation in the hereafter. In ultimate conclusion, wearing a Black Abaya (either with or without Niqab) is certainly not an 'extreme act' and fulfills the criteria of 'True Islam'. As for men, they have to respect a woman regardless of what she wears and if she is clad in less clothes, it does not mean they should take advantage of her and harass her.

Going to China for Education - Weak hadith

GOING TO CHINA FOR EDUCATION - A WEAK HADITH NARRATION:

The hadith on going to China for education is a weak hadith narration and not authentic. China was never the center of learning 1400 years ago in any case, so our dear Prophet (pbuh) could not have mentioned it in his sermons to incite his followers on gaining education. However, the need to gain knowledge is highlighted in Islam very clearly.

The most important kind of knowledge in Islam is one which prepares us how to live this life to attain salvation in the hereafter. We should not neglect that and then we have to pay attention to acquiring knowledge which benefits us in this world also - in other words known as "worldly knowledge". But before becoming "obsessed" with "worldly knowledge" it is necessary to know the do's and don't's of leading our life in compliance with the principles of Islam.

Secondly, in these times, we have to check also what kind of education is being delivered by our institutions. We have influx of money-making educational institutions now-a-days with more focus on Westernization and cutting off our youth from the roots of our culture and Islamic values. We need to strike a balance between our Eastern values and Western knowledge.

Also, there is a difference between gaining knowledge and getting a degree. If one acquires a degree, it does not automatically mean that one has acquired knowledge. Knowledge is something else and one has to work hard for it!

ایران، سعودی عرب اور امام مہدی (ع) کا ظہور

تو یہ ہے ایران سے سودی عرب کی دشمنی کی اصل وجہ ۔ سعودی شہزادے نے ایک عجیب بیان دے کر اپنے عقیدوں کا پلندہ کھول دیا ۔ سعودی عرب کے نائب ولی عہد شہزادہ محمد بن سلمان نے ایران پر الزام لگایا ہے کہ وہ مسلم دُنیا پر راج کرنا چاہتا ہے ۔ ان کے اس ریمارکس نے اسلامی جمہوریہ کے ساتھ کسی بھی قسم کی مفاہمت کو مسترد کر دیا ہے۔ 

اکتیس سالہ سعودی شہزادے نے یہ بات سعودی نجی ٹی وی ایم بی سی سے منگل کو نشر ہونے والے ایک انٹرویو میں کہی ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ “ میں کس طرح ایران کے ساتھ بات چیت کر سکتا ہوں جبکہ وہ (ایران) شیعہ نجات دہندہ امام مہدی (ع) کی آمد کیلئے زمین کو تیار کر رہا ہے اور وہ مسلم دنیا کو کنٹرول کرنا چاہتا ہے۔ 

واضح رہے کہ امام مہدی علیہ السلام کا نظریہ شیعوں سے مخصوص نہیں بلکہ پوری امت (سنی اور شیعہ) کا مسلمہ نظریہ ہے جو کہ صحیح احادیث سے ثابت ہے۔ آل ِ سعود کے اس شہزادے کی جانب سے جاری ہونے والے ان کلمات سے ظاہر ہو گیا کہ سعودی عرب پر قابض بادشاہ خاندان کا دینِ محمدی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلِہ وسلم) سے کوئی تعلق نہیں، اور وہ امام مہدی (ّع) کے خلاف فوج تیار کر رہے ہیں۔ اس انٹرویو نے آلِ سعود کے عزائم و عقائد کو روشن کر دیا ہے۔ یہ بات بھی دھیان میں رہے کہ امام مہدی علیہ السلام کی آمد کا خوف سب سے زیادہ اسرائیل کو ہے، لہَذا آلِ سعود اور اس شخص کا امام مہدی عجل اللہ تعالٰی فرجہ الشریف کی آمد کو متنازعہ بنانا انکی اسرائیلی دوستی اور ہم نشینی کا ثبوت ہے، اگرچہ سعودیہ کے عوام ہماری طرح معصوم ہیں۔ 

یہاں ہم یہ سوال پوچھنے میں حق بجانب ہیں کہ اگر ایران امام مہدی (ع) کیلئے زمین سازی کررہا ہے تو کیا آلِ سعود نے چالیس ملکی فوج امام مہدی (ع) کے لشکر کا مقابلہ کرنے کیلئے تیار کی ہے؟! شہزادہ سلمان کے اس انٹرویو سے یہ پتہ چلتا ہے کہ حق و باطل کی لڑائی واضح ہے اور آلِ سعود کا تیار کردہ فوجی اتحاد  دراصل اسرائیل کی ایما پر اسلام کے خلاف تیار ہوا ہے۔ کیونکہ امام مہدی عجل اللہ تعالٰی فرجہ الشریف، اسلام کا پرچم لے کر آئیں گے اور ان کے مقابلے میں جو بھی ہو گا اس کا تعلق کفر کے لشکر سے ہو گا۔

یہ بھی واضح رہے کہ ایران کے امام مہدی (ّع) کے ظہور کے نظریات پر بھی مکمل بھروسہ نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔ اس معاملے میں سنی اور شیعہ میں اختلافات ہیں۔ سنی عقیدہ کے مطابق امام مہدی (ع) آلِ رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) میں سے ہوں گے اور آخری زمانہ میں پیدا ہوں گے۔ بہت سے علماء کے مطابق آخری زمانہ بہت دیر سے شروع ہو چکا ہے اور امام کا ظہور قریب ہے, واللہ اعلم

کسی شاعر نے خوب کہا ہے: 

                     کیا خاک اُلجھ پاو گے مہدی زماں سے 

                     تم لوگ تو ڈر جاتے ہو رہبر کے بیاں سے

SOME DYNAMIC TRUTHS FOR RAMADAN

⇨ ISLAM IS BEAUTIFUL AND NOT "EXTREME"

They say Islam is beautiful - it surely is if you consider many of the commandments involving human relationships like caring for your parents, your attitude towards your neighbours, instructions on not cutting off ties with relatives, place of women in society, the special spirit of charity for poor etc. However, there are some strict limits defined in Islam too which we have to adhere to and which are sometimes labelled as "extreme" by a Muslim who has not spent time on studying the teachings of Islam from valid sources. So be careful and don't label everything as "extreme" if you have not devoted enough time on learning Islam.

⇨ Someone who arrogantly denies an accepted truth based on Qur'an and hadith is defined as a "FAASIQ" and "FAAJIR" - On the other hand, a Believer (Momin) is humble and listens to words of wisdom voiced by teachers of Islam, in other words he or she never rejects a truth. May this Ramadan make us all turn towards Allah with sincerity and purity in hearts - Aameen.

⇨ The words "paradise" and "hell" are each repeated 77 times in Qur'an. Hence, mention of punishment in hell is as much important as rewards in paradise, We have to love ALLAH and we have to fear Him at the same time.

⇨ USE OF DIRTY & VULGAR ABUSIVE LANGUAGE FOR OTHERS LEADS TO SCORPIONS IN ONE'S GRAVE IN AFTERLIFE:

Some Muslims are very worldly educated but unfortunately they lack civic sense and basic human ethics. During discussions, they are not afraid to use dirty and vulgar abusive language to degrade others. They should know that using a single dirty abusive word makes them earn a scorpion or snake in their grave in afterlife. What is the use of all that ego and 'satisfaction' in degrading others when one will end up like this in grave? They should sincerely repent in front of ALLAH that they will never use abuse others and apologize to the concerned persons also whom they have wronged. May this Ramadan be a turning point for such people - Aameen.

⇨ AFTERLIFE, HELL, PARADISE, MUSLIMS & NON-MUSLIMS

After the truth of Islam 1400 years ago, generally speaking, a Non-Muslim who dies without embracing Islam will be admitted in hell. A Muslim who is admitted in hell but one who has not committed 'Shirk' (associating partners with Allah Almighty), will be finally taken out of hell and entered into paradise. But we should also know that Judgment Day will be 50,000 years in length, so who can bear all that suffering on that day when the sun will be so close and heat unbearable? And who can bear all the punishment in hell when we don't know how long that punishment is going to be? We have to strive for salvation in afterlife so that we will be in comfort on Judgment Day under the shade of Great throne of Almighty Allah. Our afterlife begins rights after our death. A grave is either a garden of paradise or it is a pit of hell.

The Coming of the Great Imam

THE COMING OF THE GREAT IMAM:

— Imam Mahdi Akhir Uz Zaman (as) is the one who will fill the Earth with Justice just as it was filled with injustice & tyranny before. He will be the descendant of our dear Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) born in End times. His appearance could be very close but only God (ALLAH) knows best.

Both Sunnis and Shias believe in coming of Imam Mahdi (as) but there is difference in interpretations. Sunnis believe he will be born in End times while Shias believe he is in occultation since 1300 years. Hence we should learn about the coming of the Great Imam and the associated events. Personally we believe he will be born in the period before End times and then take command of the Muslim World as prophesized in Sahih Ahadith (sayings of our dear Prophet pbuh).

On Fasting

"To fast is the biggest wisdom which Allah ﷻ has ordered his servants from beginning until now. Fast and you will find health, physically and spiritually. Someone who doesn't will be sick physically and spiritually.

It is a command from the Heavens. It benefits mankind. Sometimes an illness comes and the doctor will order those people not to eat and drink for several days. If people die without having fasted, they will be hungry and thirsty.

Try to understand the Holy Commands in Islam. Try to understand the fasting in Islam and do not accuse Islam in a foolish way. Whoever accuses it, does not know anything about it.
When you are disciplined, you will find peace within yourself."

Penalty for violating Ramadan in Public

PENALTY FOR VIOLATING RAMADAN IN PUBLIC
Under the Islamic law 'Ehtiram-e-Ramadan', the Pakistan Senate has imposed Rs. 500 fine and 3-months imprisonment for eating or drinking in public during Ramadan. It is insane for the government to impose such a big penalty for violating Ramadan in public. Rs. 500 fine is sufficient to teach a lesson to violators but 3-month imprisonment does not make sense at all.

In fact, there should be more focus on serious penalties for hoarding eatables and increasing their prices during Ramadan. And not letting the corrupt get away!

Ramadan is a month during which Muslims concentrate on building their relationship with Almighty Allah. Some people are nevertheless not able to fast in this month due to their health issues, age-factor or because they are not Muslims. We hope the forces do not punish such individuals for eating or drinking during Ramadan even while they are themselves trying to not violate the Ramadan spirit publicly. We have little trust in Pakistan's law enforcing departments and their 'talents'.

Pakistan does not need these kind of laws which can only make many Pakistanis further drift away from faith. Let's focus on 'serious' implementation of penalties for violations in many other areas which we are ignoring.

Zia, Imran Khan & Military Eras

ZIA, IMRAN KHAN & MILITARY ERAS

Imran Khan was also my great hero from 1970s till 2000s - But I have always had more respect for Late General Zia. It started with my father's blind love for military rule (Ayub's era, Zia's era and also Mussharraff's era). However, I started to analyze things independently in the 2000s and my views evolved. 

Ayub was a liberal person but he was still a gentleman who cared sincerely for our country. Zia was a passionate lover of Islam and after Bhutto, he tried to infuse the spirit of true Islam in the country yet he faced huge challenges during that time. He was not perfect (as nobody's perfect) but still earned high respect quickly in the whole Muslim world and he was made to represent the Muslim Ummah in a session of United Nations. If some pics are circulating on Internet showing his forces causing torture to journalists and others, then that is due to propaganda against him. Many of the steps he took for the country were fair and necessary as per the signs of those times.

Lastly, Musharraff was a coward and hater of Islam though the steps he took against Nawaz Sharif, GEO and Laal Masjid were somewhat correct (some of them more than the rest). Still, all terrorism we see today in Pakistan is due to Musharraf's policies to please USA and not due to any 'seeds sown by General Zia'.

Imran Khan should be highly ashamed of speaking against General Zia and his stance on Afghan Jihad.

On his death anniversary in August 2016, a long long column was written by someone with title "ILLUSION OF ISLAMIZATION" - Many Pakistani Muslims with weak faith were impressed by that column only because of its high-vocabulary and deceitful logic. Satan is the Master of illusion himself we should know!

It is ironic how some sinister elements in Pakistan would go to great lengths to defame a leader who only made efforts to safeguard the interests of Islam and who was hailed in whole Muslim world then owing to his strong stance on Islam and Muslim brotherhood. Terrorism in Pakistan started not due to 'any seeds sowed by General Zia' but due to the policies of Musharraff who wanted to please the United States.

Sheikh Imran Hosein, the distinguished scholar of Islam who has also served as a diplomat, says this about Late General Zia:

"General Zia did many good things and though he succumbed to some bad things also but Al-hamdulillah he died as a Momin and Shaheed."

It is clear that certain groups in Pakistan do not want dominance of Islam in the country and that includes foreign-funded media groups, think-tanks, NGOs etc. They hide their hatred for Islam behind Western imposed definitions of "Radicalization" and "Extremism" (though we do need to address some related issues in Pakistan but not to the extent as 'painted' by the wolves of Satan). They are least bothered about the invasions of Muslim countries after 9/11 by US and NATO alliance. If they are not sincere with the Creator then what kind of afterlife are they investing in even if they might have abundance in this world?

The Lord gives abundance to people irrespective of their faith in this world but the rewards in afterlife are only promised to His true believers. There are only two kinds of people in this world. One who work for Allah Almighty and the other who work for Satan. There are shades in between also, but even then a person is either tilted more towards the Almighty or towards Satan, in principle.

May the Almighty make us fall in the group which works for Him and may we work hard for the glory of True Islam and Pakistan - Aameen.

Spend this night in worship, do tauba and astaghfaar, recite darood-shareef, recite Qur'an Sharif, offer Nawaafil prayers - Allah forgives the sins on this night - However we should strive to fulfill obligatory worship acts (fardh) also in routine otherwise...

Other Political Parties?

OTHER POLITICAL PARTIES?

My previous post on PTI might have disappointed the followers but the truth is I don't support any other political party as well (though the concerns pointed about PTI are genuine). I am a follower of True Conventional Islamic scholars who don't support this 'Electoral-Political System" at all. One even calls it Shirk-based though that is a little extreme. But the reason is that in this system there is more reliance on people power than reliance on Almighty Allah and fulfilling the commandments of Allah and His Prophet (pbuh) at State level. 

If anyone wants to still follow any political party then that his/her choice and nobody can be forced. But one should not be a supporter of any system just because it has mainstream appeal and presence. God has given us mind to think and what better than to use it keeping in view the obligations He requires from us. After this temporary life, we all leave this world for an eternal afterlife.

Last but not least, there is a difference between a potential future leader of a country and a 'Catalyst for change'. A true and promising leader in Pakistan will finally arrive as per valid prophecies but at the moment he is nowhere in sight. He will neither be 'corrupt' nor one with a 'celebrity-image' but rather a MAN OF ALLAH!

Why PTI and Khan disappoint me?

WHY PTI AND KHAN DISAPPOINT ME?
Below is one of the reasons I am disappointed by PTI and Imran khan. It is from 2016 and not from DISTANT HISTORY. Means Imran's basic concepts on Islam are not correct. A Muslim leader in Pakistan needs to have at least clear basic concepts on Islam otherwise we don't follow him no matter if he is hailed by the world at large.

If our association with Almighty Allah is weak, then issues of Panama Leaks and corruption are secondary. We have to pay attention to our inner corruption and fast deteriorating moral values of the nation also.

مجھے حیرت تب ہوئی جب عمران خان صاحب نے سردار سورن سنگھ کے لئے "شہید" کا لفظ استعمال کیا،

اسی کے ساتھ ساتھ دعاؤوں کا ایک نہ رکنے والا سلسلہ پی ٹی آئی کے دوستوں کے وال پہ دیکھنے کو ملا،
پہلی بات تو یہ کہ سردار سورن سنگھ جتنا بھی اپنی شخصیت کے لحاظ سے زبردست انسان تھا، مگر ان کی موت حالت کفر میں ہوئی اس لئے ان کے لئے "شہید" کا لفظ استعمال کرنا اور ان کے لئے دعا کرنا عمران خان صاحب کا ایک غلط عمل تھا جس پہ ان کو تنبیہ کرنی چاہئے تھی کارکنان کی جانب سے، لیکن کارکنان بجائے تنبیہ کے خود اس کام میں لگ گئے۔۔۔

دوسری بات کہ سردار سورن سنگھ کی مغفرت یا ان کی آخرت میں درجات کے لئے دعائے کرنے والے افراد کو چاہئے کہ وہ اگر اسلام کی طرف اپنی نسبت کرتے ہیں تو قرآن مجید کی اس آیت کو ذرا ملاحظہ فرمالیں، جس میں اللہ نے اپنے حبیب ﷺ کو کفار کے لئے بعد از موت دعا کرنے سے منع کیا ہے

مَاكَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُوا لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَلَوْكَانُوا أُولِي قُرْبَى مِنْ بَعْدِ مَاتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ۔
(التوبۃ:۱۱۳)

ترجمہ: نبی اور ایمان والوں کے لئے روا نہیں کہ یہ ظاہر ہوجانے کے بعد بھی کہ مشرکین دوزخی ہیں ان کے لئے دعا کریں؛ گووہ ان کے قرابت دار ہوں۔

میری اس پوسٹ کو کسی قسم کی سیاسی فرقہ بازی کی نظر کرنے سے گریز کیا جائے،

اور جو بھائی لوگ اس بات کو بھی "مذہبی منافرت" میں شمار کرتے ہیں وہ اپنے ایمان پہ غور و خوض کریں کہ وہ کس جانب جارہے ہیں

Maybe if we try even now and turn over a new leaf, He might have mercy and pick us - In sha ALLAH. Follow men of ALLAH like Irfan-ul-Haq Sahib and Ameer Akram Awan Sahib for guidance.
