Do you know what the man said when the King remarked, “I don’t believe that you have killed the lion with your bare hands”?

He said quietly: “What you believe is your fear!”

The kings always fear men of truth for they have a bond with God. Though, the lines above have been taken from an old movie which cannot match the moral standards of Islam, but still they cater to the truth which we aim to highlight here!

Men of ALLAH are special people. They try to live their lives in complete submission of their Creator. They do not desire wealth, fame or power and believe in a higher purpose of life. In the present situation concerning Pakistan, we might not necessarily see such beings in the ‘front’ which means either leading causes or presentations/debates on media, social campaigns or others. It might also be a reality that majority of people serving in Islamic institutes might not be men of ALLAH due to not having hearts with pure intentions or free from prejudice, jealousy or pride. Men of ALLAH are mostly hidden from the society and prefer anonymity. Who knows that our country is surviving only due to the prayers of such people?

They might be those whom society looks down upon or considers them useless. They might have few material possessions while their hearts are free of greed. They might not be the ones with any titles or social status. But they spend a lot of time in the remembrance of ALLAH (Zikr) and in helping people around them. Humility is their trademark with benevolence next to it. Though, men of faith function in different roles by assuming duties in society, but the men of ALLAH are from a different breed altogether. It is said that with their ‘power of dua’ they can protect the nation from imminent calamities. However, when the society as a whole repeatedly fails to acknowledge the message of ALLAH and rejects it, for how long can the prayers of men of ALLAH work?

Mr. Imran Khan is ready for the final round on Sunday, November, 30, 2014. Whether his campaign is justified or not, it is necessary to understand that his frequent statement with reference to the quote of one of the Khulfa-e-Rashideen, “Kufr ka nizaam tau qayam ra sakta hai, lekin zulm ka nizaam qayam nahi rah sakta” (godless system can stay but not one of tyranny) does not give a good feeling. He has uttered this quote so many times that we need to address it. By emphasizing on this quote, does he want to give the impression that a ‘Kufr ka nizaam’ (godless system) is about to follow next after a ‘Zulm ka nizaam’ (a system of tyranny)?

A call for a sit-in in Islamabad has been given with aggressive undertones. Imran Khan also has a lot of blind followers like some religious leaders. Though he has raised many valid points against the existing government but there is too much talk on changing the system and little on changing ourselves. If we call ourselves a Muslim society, then we need to abide by a few standards. We should remember that we need to bring the help of ALLAH on our side foremost. It is too late to discuss what has been going on in the sit-ins.

If only the people of the cities had had faith and feared, We would have opened up to them blessings from heaven and earth. But they denied the truth so We seized them for what they earned. (Surat al-A'raf: 96)

Allah has promised those of you who believe and do right actions that He will make them successors in the land as He made those before them successors, and firmly establish for them their religion with which He is pleased and give them, in place of their fear, security. "They worship Me, not associating anything with Me." Any who disbelieve after that, such people are deviators. (Surat an-Nur: 55)

Much earlier, a think-tank proposed Army-backed patriotic caretaker government of technocrats to put the country on the right track ultimately leading to model of Khilafat-e-Rashida. India has the largest democratic setup in the world, but it does not stop corrupt elements from assuming important roles in their assemblies.

In Pakistan, democracy is a sugar-coated dictatorship slave to imperial powers and UN, which is their institution.  Khilafat is a form of “benevolent dictatorship” which strictly works for the welfare of the nation without external meddling. 

ALLAH will also one day send a man who can be rightly suitable to serve as Khalifa. Before that, we have to believe in ALLAH and His supremacy besides promoting system of Khilafat. Let’s not be fooled or discouraged by some violent groups who try to hijack the concept of ‘Khilafat’ which is still our own niche!

Secular people can equally serve well in an Islamic system. They fear that clergy will take over the reins of government in an Islamic government. That is not true. Capable people with natural talents could be entrusted responsibilities in all departments whether they are secular or religious. There is no compulsion in religion regarding personal beliefs but at the state level, Islamic laws need to be implemented to bring ALLAH on our side. The ‘Khalifa’ of course has to be a person who is not only gifted with knowledge in affairs of Islam but is adept with the matters of world also.

Pakistan is ‘Madina-e-Sani’, the last frontier of the Ummah which is suffering from great chaos. Whether we can directly jump to the system of ‘Khilafat’ or bring in patriotic technocratic caretakers first is a question. We need not look towards any single liberating leader or group at the moment. It is the belief in the system which counts. Somewhere out there is a man capable of taking up the task of a worldly and spiritual leader in Sha ALLAH for Pakistan. We just need to strongly believe in ALLAH and His supremacy!
