NEWS ON SATURDAY - 12th May, 2018

- Pakistani TV Celebrities like Adnan Siddiqui, Faysal Qureishi, Samina Ahmed and many others protested outside Supreme Court, Islamabad to ban Indian Dramas on Pakistani Channels. That is good but the main reason of protesting is that their business is suffering   and it would have been great if they had protested two three years ago since India is constantly violating LoC since 2014 and resorting to cross-border firing. Chief Justice also gave them a dose by saying that the proceedings in award shows organized by Pakistani TV were against our culture due to inappropriate dresses and hence our traditions and norms were being diminished that way.

- 92-year-old Mahathir, who previously ruled Malaysia with an iron fist for 22 years, came out of retirement to take on Prime Minister Najib Razak after the leader became embroiled in a massive corruption scandal. Mahathir has been sworn in again as the country's Prime Minister.

- Maulana Abdul Aziz of Lal Masjid has not been allowed to lead Friday prayers - Good decision, as he has not shown stable temperament so far.
