WHAT IS EXTREMISM (INTE-HA-PASANDI) ?
Yes, but the average Muslim from English medium education background in Pakistan these days is not aware of even some basic components of 'deen' (religion) and thus labels many Islamic practices as "EXTREME" - One needs to understand that the education in schools or colleges was not sufficient to have an understanding of 'deen'. And one needs to undergo either extensive research on Islam or a proper course on Islam from a conventional Islamic institute (second is more recommended)
