Muslim man of the year?

Muslim man of the year?

It is good that Imran Khan has been named 'Muslim man of the year' by Jordan's Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre after his UN speech recently. We will talk about how Islamic the state of Jordan really is later on but first let's talk from an other perspective.

Actually, the world only notices a few things which are "apparent" like a UN speech etc. Some of us here in Pakistan who are neutral and have not voted for any political party in the last two elections are able to draw more valid points either in favour of him or against him.

He has basically an aura of glamour around him which is not so important to many of us. Has the curfew in Kashmir been lifted? He and Bajwa say that it was not Jihad 40 years ago against USSR. And now when the situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) demands military operation by Pakistan, he has still not sent forces there like a true Muslim leader. Some retired Army officers in Pakistan have said that we should send our forces there when patients are dying due to unavailablity of medicines, men are being tortured and our sisters are being raped.

There are many other things against him which we can point out. Check this latest post for instance about him: https://together-we-rise.blogspot.com/2019/09/the-west-and-us.html?fbclid=IwAR0ztfD_xiC2a5bg7E-2xO8IOE8RXljbS0Oh22fqjngnH2S9-cpZ07HSRu0
