Some people offer their prayers very regularly in masjid but they carry hate, pride and jealousy in their hearts. What's the use of offering prayers when they are not paying attention to what is in their hearts? The same people utter such negative words against fellows while sitting in masjid that one is shocked to see such attitude. Perhaps Allama Iqbal (ra) said the couplet above for the very same matter.
