There will always be those who come against you when you take a stand for what is right. People have different ideas about right and wrong. Some will have a completely different opinion about what is right than you do, and others simply couldn’t care less about whether their actions are right or not. Either way, don’t allow their actions or opinions affect you.
The superior man knows what is right, at least in most situations. He spends time studying the difference between right and wrong, studying the wisdom of the sages, and has used what he has learned to develop his code. His code guides him in all of his actions, and thus the arguments of those who oppose him fall on deaf ears. He cannot be moved from what he knows to be right.
