Preferring the life in hereafter over the life of this world
The Prophet (pbuh) and his household members (Ahl-e-Bait) were those who preferred the life in hereafter over the life of this world. (It means their lives were not spent around worldly passions and goals but everything they did was in submission to the commandments of Allah)
