He says reciting earns 'sawwaab' no doubt but more important thing is understanding the message in Qur'an and incorporating it in our lives while removing those tendencies/things from our lives which we have been warned against.
NEXT: Many of us don't know that Ramadan spirit is incomplete without strengthening our relationship with Qur'an. That is why there are Taraweeh prayers where whole Qur'an is recited in this month so that those behind the Imam can listen to Qur'an. Apart from this, we can recite Qur'an ourselves also and read/listen to tafseer. In some mosques, after Fajar prayer, Imams deliver explanations (tafseer) of Qur'an.
