Zest for Afterlife

"ZEST FOR AFTERLIFE" (EVERLASTING LIFE) should be much greater than "ZEST FOR LIFE" (TEMPORARY LIFE) - The Prophet (pbuh) said: "If a man dips one of his fingers in sea and takes it out, the likeness of afterlife is the sea while the likeness of this world (or life) are the few drops of water that return with the finger." It does not mean that we stop "living" in this temporary world or do not enjoy things that are permissible in Islam but it only means that we should try our best to live this life according to the code of Islam in all spheres and try to submit ourselves wholeheartedly to the Supreme Authority, Almighty ALLAH. May ALLAH bless all of us and may He guide us to the true path - Aameen.
