Ramadan - Important Dates

RAMADAN - SOME IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

- 3rd Ramadan, death anniversary of Hadhrat Fatimah tuz-zohra (ra), eldest daughter of our dear Prophet (pbuh) (from his first wife Hadhrat Khadija ra) - Hadhrat Fatimah (ra) will be the head of all women in Jannah (Heaven)

- 17th Ramadan, battle of Badr in Madinah when 313 Muslims with few weapons fought against a well-armed army of more than 1000 invaders and defeated them

- 17th Ramadan, death anniversary of Hadhrat Ayesha Siddiqa (ra) who was not just the last wife of our Prophet (pbuh) but a great scholar of Islam as well. When the enemies of Islam slandered her, Almighty ALLAH revealed some verses of Qur'an in her defense.

- 21st Ramadan, martyrdom day of Sher-e-Khuda, Hadhrat Ali Murtaza (ra), the Prophet's (pbuh) cousin as well as his son-in-law who is known for his wisdom and knowledge as well as being a mighty warrior of Islam who fought very bravely in bloody battles against the enemies of Islam.
